My Time Made Easy, TM LLC

Look at this SUPER cool Blinkie

I LOVE it!

I have had so many people hard at work (my own little MTME elves :D) to help get my store ready to go. I have a million thank yous that will all come soon 😀 Having said that….I’ll fill you all in on WHO made this for me (and any of YOU who want to add it to your blog :D) once my Design Team is announced 😀

Just click and copy the code on my sidebar——> (its HUGE right now on my sidebar (wordpress is touchy right now) but I’ll fix it later! SORRY!)

I did receive so many emails about the design team that I have yet to respond to. My design team was already in place prior to my BIG announcement. I will be having a guest spot here and there so everyone has a shot at some point ;D

I’m so excited that the My Time Made Easy LLC store opening is near! Now my “official” opening isn’t until January……but we do have a few things to share BEFORE that, just in time for the holidays!

I have my FIRST email newsletter all typed and ready to go 😀

ONLY my email subscribers will get a CODE to get a FREE Pretty Packaging © template (details to follow in the email!). There is still time…… so if you haven’t go subscribe!

Here is a little bitty PEEK at TWO Pretty Packaging © templates, soon to come!

Having all the cut files allows you to resize all the Pretty Packaging © templates to suit your projects 😀 You will fall in LOVE!!

I know I have been MIA lately but I really need to take every second to focus on the details for My Time Made Easy © LLC. I do have MANY amazing samples to share once we have the “unofficial” opening before the holidays, so that you can grab a couple templates in time to make some great gifts 😀 Now for those of you with personal cutters your packages will be whipped up in no time!

Those of you still using our Printer versions…….you still have time to add the personal cutter to your wish list for Santa! LOL!

I have to say I’m loving my Cricut Expression (wink!)

Well I need to get back to work. Trust me just because I’ve been quiet doesn’t mean I haven’t been BUSY 😀 I will SOON have lots of eye candy to share 😀 So stay tuned!!

In the meantime I hope you are enjoying the hustle and bustle of the holiday season! I know I am squeezing in as much time as I can with my family too.

Be back very soon.

JRS Blog hop: Hip to be Square

Guess what time it is?!

blog-hop-icon.JPG

How fun is this?!

JustRite Stampers has a NEW! Release, and this is the PERFECT time for you to get inspired by all the new images!

Im excited because they FINALLY have a square block and NEW! Square images.  I was over the moon to see that!

There are 9 new products to check out —->HERE!

Here is my first (of many to come) samples

Dream Big

dream-bigger.JPG

A motto I live by.

This sentiment just called out to me. This is from  Just a Note Borders & Centers 1 5/8″. Of course I’m always DREAMING BIG (wink) and love the addition of the butterflies, as they are TOTALLY my thing! I didn’t go with the circle borders though because I wanted you to see that these images can also be used with OTHER shapes, and co-ordinate inside the new square borders they just released! More for you $$!! Love versatility.

dream-big-5.JPG

Keep that in mind! JUST because they come in circle form, don’t let that limit your creativeness to only use with circle borders

I really loved this particular border from 2″ Square Decorative Frames. I used a glue pen and added some YUMMY Flower Soft to the vine like border, to appear to be like flowers! I *just* got flower soft and if you haven’t noticed I’m starting to LOVE it. It was just what this frame needed to kick it up a notch! It really looks like little flower clusters in person.

I want to send this to Kelliebecause she is an amazing person, and like me, has many big dreams! She has just been an amazing support to me lately (even though she may not realize it). She is like what every mentor should be! She is encouraging, supportive, understanding, and helpful in every-way. You know she truly believes in you when she says it.

Thank you Kellie!

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

Nov 13, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Uncategorized

Well its the 14th! That means that the Papertrey Ink Release party is tonight!

So I have more projects to share using the NEWEST! My Timeless Templates © Home Made © and Time for Take Out ©

Sadly I’m still as sick as ever, so I need to brief. I have all I can do to keep my head up. I felt so bad since yesterday was Noah’s birthday and I wasn’t able to get out of bed for very long. Needless to say we did NOT make it to the movies. He did have a scavenger hunt for his gifts, and decided to spend his day playing with all his new stuff! I don’t think he even noticed my absence. We will save the movie for when we are ALL healthy. I don’t want to pass whatever I have on to ANYONE else.

OK now let’s get to the projects!

Home Made © Twas the Night Before Christmas

santa-2.JPG

and all through the house

santa-front-house.JPG

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse

santas-house.JPG

The stocking were hung, by the chimney with care (he sits nicely on the roof, or can come off!)

santa-closer-up.JPG

In hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there! (back of house)

back-of-santa-house-2.JPG

That is my version of the ‘Twas Night Before Christmas!

I had some light garland from my PSF (Bonnie – I think! If I remember correctly OR it was my other PSF Barb!) and used to to decorate my Home Made © template. How perfect it was! I scored the boards on the house. Added some snow, and it was just about ready!

Then I KNEW I had to add Santa and his sleigh

santas-in-front.JPG

My Santa is from Holiday Button Bits. I used my iTopp to create his brad belly! I love it!! His beard and hat are fun flocked too. I used my Cricut Expression to create my sleigh. I made mine 3D! I then wrapped a cotton ball with gold tissue paper for his sack. The list is one of the signature background basics, cut and rolled into a real life “naughty/nice list”.

Supplies:

My Timeless Template: Home Made, Holiday Button Bits
Stamps: Home Made, Holiday Button Bits
Cardstock: Pure Poppy, Smokey Shadow, White
Ink:Black & copic markers
Christmas light ribbon, sleigh cartridge from cricut, i topp, brad, glue, chunky glitter, silver cording, white fun flock

Autumn Delights

fall-take-out-duo.JPG

Here is another set using the NEW! Time for Take Out © I hope this template isn’t get overshadowed by the AMAZING Home Made © template, because it is PURE fun!

I love creating with the standard and pretty petite sizes. Now you have lots of options for what you want to package up.

I’m in love with the Autumn Abundance  patterned paper. Its stunning all by itself!

other-side-falling-take-out.JPG

All I did was add a paper punched flower to the top. Some leaves from Prima, and some jeweled ones too.

take-out-side-flap-detail.JPG

This is the fold in flap detail. Really pretty, with lots of possibilities!

fall-take-out-open.JPG

Nothing is better than a box of chocolate! One of my FAVES!

My Timeless Template: Time for Take Out
Cardstock: Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest
Patterned paper:Autumn Abundance
ribbon: orange zest bitty dots
flower punches, adhesive rhinestones

Well that does it for me. I need to get back to bed and recover while Jay is home to care for the kids.

Home Made and template winners

Nov 12, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Uncategorized

Well I’m excited to share a PEEK at today’s project!

NOTE: Template not available until the 15th!

It is also my son, Noah’s 7th Birthday!! I can’t believe how fast time went by, and how big he is! That is for another day……

OK back to “business”.

The entire team at Papertrey Ink is getting in on the template FUN! Finally!!

We each have ONE peek of our projects using the NEW! Home Made © Template/Stamp set.

This month will run a little differently. Normally you get 5 EXCLUSIVE ideas with the template download. THIS month you get a PEEK at each project and a grand total of 11 projects ideas, complete with additional photos, supplies and instructions for completing each one with the template purchase.

 lauren.jpg

Can you believe this template is ONLY $5!

The template includes:

 house base

roof box top

PRINTED roof toppers! So no lining up stamps 😀

2 back dormers

1 larger front dormer

and a chimney.

SOOOOOOOOO many possibilities its insane.

You have PLENTY of time to make your holiday gifts still 😀

How cool is it that we have a template and stamp combo for this one 😀  I cannot tell you how many hours went in to perfecting this template. This is one of those ideas that wakes me up at 4am (it is ALWAYS 4am for some odd reason too! LOL!) and then next thing you know it goes from a sketch, to a tangible template! Just like that! (I wish! LOL!) OK LOTS of cardstock wasted, but it is so worth it 😀

I could seriously gush over this forever, but I don’t think I need to. You can see for yourself and know just how many amazing things can truly be done with it!

Now you may think that the stamp set is *just* for the templates. Well no, it can be used for cards too!

I made mine to match my Home Made box!

home-made-card-set.JPG

Isn’t that cute?

All the same elements…..just on a card. I love it.

I wish I could share more……but I can’t. But you can check out the design teams projects while you wait!

I think you may all have some ideas of why I’m always so “busy” these days! There is just SO much more to come 😀

    A Stamp for Henry

Nov 9, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Uncategorized

Please check this out if you get time!

    For Henry

This is a stamp or digi image made for the Anderson family who are grieving the loss of their son Henry. I posted about this the other day here.

Today’s project is just one example as to WHY I love this craft so much, and sharing what I love to do with the world!

If this doesn’t get you excited for the holidays then I don’t know WHAT will. I am beyond excited to share this is a super fun project that is INEXPENSIVE, and you can even let the kids make their own!! (After you do the basic assembly of supplies!) THIS is a gift worth giving every family member at some point, and it doesn’t even have to be HOLIDAY themed!!

Would you believe it if I told you that this was originally a Wire Folding Easel? <—- Seriously check it out

    Family Tree

    family-paper-tree.JPG

Would you believe me if I told you that I used it to designed my very own photo/card display for ONLY $2.29?

    Well believe it.

I have longed to create a special photo/card holder to display during the holidays. One that I can easily switch out photos & cards for, year after year. The store bought ones aren’t generally festive, and can easily cost upwards of $20.  All you need is a little imagination and some Papertrey to get your own started!

I was in the plant supply section at JoAnn’s, buying some festive elements to use in my holiday gift packaging. This is definitely the time of year I make something for everyone!! While in the aisle, my 5 yo daughter Amber said “Mommy, is that like a Christmas tree?” and she pointed to the wire easel. IMMEDIATELY my mind began SPINNING!! I said “It’s not suppose to be a tree, but you have very good eyes Amber! We are going to take it home and make a special tree for our house!” I literally forgot about everything I was there to get and about 2 hours later this project was made! Now It took 2 hours because I had NO IDEA what or HOW I was going to execute the “tree” that was in my head.

So with a little cardstock, Scor-Tape, hot glue gun, ribbon, clips, my Cricut Expression, and of course some festive holiday stamps

(—> Click here to view all the images listed in  my post)……and our Family Tree was made!

Here is how: (and NO I didn’t get step by step photos, I needed my hands to keep up with my brain, and quite honestly I didn’t think this would actually work! LOL!)

I first wrapped my ribbon around the easel, being sure to secure it with glue as it wrapped around the wire frame. I laid the tree on the floor and used 2 pieces of spring moss cardstock to trace the tree. I then cut them. I  used my Scor-Tape to adhere the cardstock to the BACK of the open wire easel frame.

BE SURE TO KEEP EVERYTHING NEAT! You can see the back and sides on this project! NO messy stuff OK.

Added my metal clips to the ribbon that criss crosses in ripe avocado …….then just like after you apply your lights to the tree, you decorate it!

Tippity Top of the easel tree

    paper-tree-topper.JPG

There was a little hook at the top of the easel. I used it to insert my bird. There was a clip under the bird but I removed it. Squeezed in some hot glue, then stuck it onto the hook.  I got the bird at the craft store to use as my tree topper (and cover the hook!) I added some of the berries I purchased to the top as well. I used the gift from Holiday Button Bits. I also used an ornament from Vintage Ornaments.

I also used the 2009 Holiday tags, and Stocking Prints.  Then our family photo at the top!

    paper-tree-2.JPG

I punched some snowflakes, and added a photo of myself, Jason, and Noah in the middle. I used the mitten image from Snowfall on either side. I thought they looked cute not fully inked.

    paper-tree-3.JPG

Now under Noah’s face we have the gingerbread man from Holiday Button bits, as well as Santa next to Amber! For Alexa I used a little present from Sign Language. You can also see another Vintage ornament, and the snowman tag from 2009 Holiday Tags.

    family-tree.JPG

Added some more berries, and the poinsettia from Peaceful Poinsettia to the center. More tags from the 2009 Holiday Tag collection!

I had to design the bottom to spell out “Family” tree, then use the tree image from Merry & Bright at the end!

Now “Family” is spelled out using my Cricut Expression Story Book cartridge.

Last but not least, I added some white tinsel furry stuff (what is that called??) to look like a snowy bottom.

Once again here is the completed tree

    family-paper-tree.JPG

    Supplies:

Stamps: Merry & Bright, 2009 Holiday Tags, Snowfall, Holiday Button Bits, Vintage Ornaments, Sign Language, Stocking Prints

Cardstock: White, Spring Moss, Pure Poppy, Kraft

Ink: Black, Pure Poppy, Ripe Avocado, Copic Markers

Ribbon: Ripe Avocado grosgrain, Pure Poppy polka dot

Other: Easel, metal clips, Cricut Story Book, circle punch, snowflake punch, hot glue gun, Scor-Tape, bird, berries, fur, adheisve rhinestones

Now I bet you cannot wait to decorate your own!

Just pick a color scheme and get going.

Now this will be for our family photos, but you can certainly use to hold cards and other fun items too! Maybe even an ART tree for your child’s art work?! Endless possibilities!

Thank you ALL for stopping by!

I can’t tell you how fun this was. Kids have such a great eye for seeing something in other items! For example, just go cloud gazing and you will be shocked at the imagination of a child! I give my daughter Amber full credit for the idea behind this project! I never would have seen a “tree” in that isle. I would have totally overlooked that ugly easel!

Note to self: Take Amber with you on ALL trips to the craft store, from now on!

Sharing some sad news of fellow stampers

Nov 5, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Uncategorized

Per my usual I’m on the run, but I have some important things to share so I’m stopping by quickly.

    No eye candy today.

Before you read today’s “news” you may want to just take a moment and hug your own children or loved ones. We should never forget how fragile and precious life is. Your entire life can change in an instant. Tomorrow is never a guarantee. That being said what I have to share breaks my heart. I feel for all those affected and know that their lives are forever changed, in just a second.

I work for Pink Cat Studio. One of our girls has suffered a severe loss. Something no mom should ever have to go though.

This is the info we are all using the spread the word:

This week has been a very sad one as DT member Sarah Anderson’s 3 year old son Henry passed away. Little Henry was unable to overcome a virus that made him ill last week.

Lorie Ames has organized a way to donate for a memorial for Henry. Henry loved his local zoo and visited it almost every day in the summer. As a memorial, trees will be planted there in his honor. Melissa at Pink Cat Studio has created a digital stamp to help raise funds for a tree for Henry. All proceeds from the sale of the digi stamp, minus Paypal costs, will go towards the tree. If you would like to donate towards the tree, please visit this webpage to purchase the digi stamp: https://www.pinkcatstudio.com/Digital/DigiStamps/Animals/Zoo/GiraffeAndMonkey.htm

Another way to donate to the memorial is to print out this form and mail in your donation directly: https://www.ci.oshkosh.wi.us/Parks/PDF/MemorialTreePamphlet.pdf

Please write on the form that the donation is for Sarah Anderson’s son Henry. Once all of the money is collected, a tree and location will be selected. If you have questions about the form please contact Lorie Ames. Lorie will be in contact with Sarah along this memorial journey to ensure that her wishes are followed.

To contact Lorie, please visit her blog at
    https://www.live-love-laugh-create.blogspot.com/

If you don’t know Sarah and would like to learn more about her, please visit her blog: https://scrampinmama.blogspot.com/ Thank you for your help to raise money for a tree for Henry.

     ——————————————————–

Then another sad story to share is that of Jaime Cates.

There is a blog hop going on for her beginning here (this was the other day). So if you have time send her a card!

I know I will be working on that this weekend, along with the latest from Pink Cat Studio-with the image for Henry. She has some really cute new digis out.

I have some other last minute projects to prepare for too, so better get going. You WON’T want to miss my PTI newsletter project tomorrow 😀 TRUST ME!

Thank you all for checking out these causes, and maybe finding the time to send a card. Its little things like that, that touch people.

    Itty Bitty Halloween Ideas

Sep 15, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Uncategorized

Today is the day for the Pink Cat Studio release of Itty Bitty Halloween!

    Here they are!

    pcs_ittybittyhalloween.jpg

    Aren’t they so cute?

You can get your set —>HERE!

In the meantime, if you need some ideas, I have 2 more for you 😀

    Free Broom Rides

    broom-ride-hanger.JPG

I thought this image and sentiment were SO cute!

I have been making lots of fun tag style treatlets, this past month or so, and I have another FUN one for you 😀

Well, I LOVE to be green!

    witch-deet.JPG

And NO! I don’t mean my witches face!! I mean RECYCLING!

I have MANY recycled projects from the past: (click links)

    Many Merry Moments

    Twinkling Tree

    Dome top gift box

    Strawberry Bag

    Embellish It

    Fancy Flower

Amongst others, that I just couldn’t EASILY locate for you :C

    So back to being GREEN…….

I save ALL my Crystal Light drink mix cups. Once I make a pitcher, I rinse out the cup and put it in my stash to later re-use them on gift packaging.

    broom-ride-sides.JPG

    Like this!

    Can it get cuter?

    cup-deets.JPG

I just pop it through the front of my tag, and filled it with Chocolate candy crunch balls, wrapped like eyeballs! It only fits 3 or 4 so its PERFECT for when you need a LOT! You can sparingly give the candy! LOL!

    broom-ride-candy-cup.JPG

    Pretty cute huh?

I’m bummed that the glittery moon doesn’t show up glittery!

Anywho, I have another “green” project for ya!

How about covering a black paper bag? You know those cheapie lunch bags you can get at the Craft store? Some come in colors.

Then take it and make a COOL Pop Up bag?

    pop-out-23.JPG

Now this is WAY cooler than MOST standard covered bags! Its totally 3 D!

All I did was take some black cardstock, and folded it like a card.

     pop-out-other-side.JPG

Flipped it up side down (fold at bottom) and “decorated” what would be the INSIDE of the card. Then adhered it to my bag front!

    pop-out-bag-3d-close-up.JPG

Using dimensionals and the pop out cardstock form you would use for a pop out card, I adhered the kiddies to the base!

I just love this fun bag cover!

The tree is a Back to School cartridge from my SLICE 😀 Bat is a Martha Punch, and the moon-obviously a circle 😀

So there you have my last contributions for the countdown, with the ever adorable Itty Bitty Halloween Set!

Check out all the designers blogs for more great samples.
