Blog Hop: A Year In Review

Mar 4, 2011 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, JUGS Challenge

Well today wraps up our March Release Projects. I have yet to load my stuff to our AMAZING gallery, but promise to by the weekend!

We like to celebrate this day with a group post.

As I mentioned last month, we have added a NEW! feature to the end of our monthly release called A year in review. This is when the design team and myself shares a project using any previously released stamps, templates, papers, and cut files!

This will allow you all even MORE ideas for using previously released items!

Let the inspiration begin here:

  • Kristin Bueter
  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Katie Cotton
  • Lisa Kind
  • Monique Hansen
  • Pam Imholz
  • Tangii Crain
  • and our guest Kathryn Berthiaume!
  • Sadly I don’t have my own sample to share for the Year in Review. SOON though.

I definitely want to use the What’s Your Angle? again and will have a peek at what has taken up most my time these days.

Now that being said I am working hard on something special (you will be in the KNOW next week some time) that has consumed much of my time, as have the kids (they are on vacation), so I will plan to post a peek SOON!! I’m putting in much time and energy, and I think it will be worth the wait 😀

I do have a sample to share, even though I don’t have a template today. It is for a sketch challenge for the JUGS Challenge #74! <–CHECK IT OUT

Here I used both the latest release sets: Singing Silhouette, and Keep Strong

The sentiment and image are stamped on a up-side-down tag, as you can see the bow is hanging at the bottom.

I LOVE this sentiments ” The journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step” Its my life motto! I wear a bracelet that says it, to remind me daily of the journey I have been on.

The paper is from the Coffee Beans Pretty Printables Digital Paper. It actually inspired the color scheme for this creation.

Well its been a fabulous release!

I plan on returning really soon with PEEK at what is to come. Don’t miss out on what the team has shared the last week either! They really went over and above with this release!

    Hi everyone!
It’s *almost* April! Can you believe it? As the next month is upon us that means I start sharing some fun stuff with you.

Well if you weren’t aware I am a monthly template sponsor over at the Just Us Girls Challenge Blog. It is now time for another challenge!

All the JUGS girls are peeking  a NEW! Release template called Slip Cover ©!! (So I’m letting you all in on an extra EARLY peek :D)

The official My Time Made Easy ™ LLC release peeks begin Monday (our actual release date is April 1st), and I have a special announcement tomorrow about what is to come! Now  as I said above TODAY I’m “slipping” in an extra EARLY peek for you of one of our NEWEST template: Slip Cover ©

     cardbox-2.JPG

Looking for the perfect holder to SLIP your creations in to?

Well  this is the template for you! This will come together in minutes, and is sure to please.

Below: This is the same template, in the undecorated state.

The sleek curvy “cover” just “slips“on over the base.

Both pieces can be utilized alone as well. You can also design the box to be presented vertically or horizontally.

The base of this has a fun “tuck in” feature, so adhesive is optional.

This box can hold your A2 sized cards/envelopes (perfectly) and so much more! We all need that “go to” template for our cards, or presenting other gifts, with little time or effort!

All you need to decide is what YOU want to slip inside!

Don’t forget you can resize this so the gift ideas are truly endless!

This is the cover removed. SO PRETTY!What a surprise it reveals too.

I loaded this up with body wash, body lotion, and body spray, as well as a eye mask.

As previously stated the base is perfect enough to also be used on it’s own (as you will see by looking at the JUGS Challenge participants, and more from me later!)

    Now about the stamps…….

    topper-view.JPG

How simply elegant does this look? I used my Fanciful Flourishes © and All A Flutter © on this creation (bfly stamped on GaGa for Gingham © paper)

Yes! you are also getting a peek at something else NEW!  Now the gorgeous flowers you are seeing is yet ANOTHER early peek at one of our newest sets called Petal Perfection © ! This is a smaller set of 8 large images that sells for only $12!  (more on that later!) This set coordinates with a few things in our release this month!

    flower-detail.JPG

You will be happy to hear that there is a coordinating Pretty Pieces © Cut File to match (ONLY $2.50!!) so NO tedious cutting out of those flowers (if you have a personal cutting machine). I just cut my flowers, stamped and layered!

    Done in no time.
