flocked Spectrum Here is my card in Paper Crafts magazine page 16!

Good morning everyone. I haven’t stamped much this week-still in a little FUNK of emotions-but since Football is on later you can bet I will be in my stamp room! Ill be looking around my world for inspiration. We are going Apple picking as a family, so I hope I have energy later!

Alot of you have asked for my recipe for the Vanilla Bean Chiller Kahlua-

Well I wish there was a secret but its really JUST a drink mixer from Tastefully Simple! Unfourtunately it was a seasonal item and they dont carry it now! Yes bummer!

I would just use the mix, milk, and Kahlua blended with ice for a smoothie.

But I have another thing I LOVE that is just as yummy

TGIFridays Mudslide mix-with a packet of Mocha Blended iced coffee mix (by Archer Farms found at Target in coffee isle), Put in blender with milk, and ice-and YUMMMY!!!

I have one every weekend these days! JUST ONE!! Im a lightwieght and no one wants a hangover with 3 kids.

SO-Yesterday was an awesome mail day! I got the box from Mary Jo-thank you! She sent Alexa some cards, and her medal for the walk she participated in. How truly awesome of her!

I also got my issue of Craft’s n’ Things October 2007, and I have 2 Halloween themed items in there using Fright Night! Ill give a small peek!

On page 25- Bug Potion #9-

      poem   top

Click thumbnails for larger view. The #9 is by Green Grass -essentials monograms

Im not going into all the details as they are in the magazine.

How cute is that??? In the magazine they filled it with jelly beans. Now the Bug Potion #9 is the actual recipe for SLIME!

All you need is

 3/4 cup of cornstarch

1/3 cup of water

and 5-7 drops of food coloring

add plastic or slimy bugs if you wish

mix together, let stand 3 minutes. Its a wakcy slime recipe! Let me know if you make it!

I mixed up the directions for the theme of bug potion.

So its sounded cool.

My other project is Bag of Spiders page 13

Another cute Halloween treat. See details in magazine. I hope to post them later this month-when its OK!

Ok Im off for the day! Enjoy.

Beautiful Girl Photo TIn

THUMBNAILS-click for larger view

Since I’m in LOVE with this photo of Amber I decided to encapsulate it forever! LOL!

I was thrilled with how this turned out! It was the first thing I did with my Paper Trey set, I just forgot to upload it!

I chose to use Basic Grey Fare Thee Well pattern from Scarlett’s Letter collection. Its got hue’s of gray, black & white.

I used  large clear hing tins-and cut Amber’s photo to size. Adhered it into the tin. I then lined the inner edge inside the tin so it looks complete in there! I also covered the bottom and back of tin with the same pattern. The lip of the top the tin is covered with May Arts black velvet ribbon, for interest, and texture.

The lid is stamped using black StazOn and the leaf image form the Paper Trey Ink set-Beautiful Blooms.

I then cuttlebugged (Flowers #1die set) some glittered black felt (got that at Michaels) and then stamped/punched the flowers. I wrapped some dark gray polka dot ribbon around the box, and strung it through the hodge podge piece. I has the perfect little pin set from Making Memories, and stamped the “girl” sentiment on the tiny tag!

I will cherish this forever! Isnt she so sweet! I am really enjoying this age with her. She is in her torturous three’s but SO CUTE! I can hardly stand it.

Well I hope this gives you some new uses for those clear top tins! Now I need to make 2 more! That way Noah & Alexa dont get upset 😀

Scor-Pal Its been a while since I posted a review and I’ve gotten alot of questions about the Scor-Pal since posting my Window Box Tutorial link , and my Make your own envelopes link.

What is the Scor-Pal?

Well in my own words, its a lightweight, heavy duty plastic board, with deeply etched grid lines, that enable’s you to make nice, deep, straight, crisp scores on the lightest weight paper, to the heavy duty cardstock without problems! You don’t even have to move your paper-unless you need to score going the other direction!

This tool was designed by Diana Crick, and can be seen HERE. It costs $39.95 plus S/H for US.

It arrives with instructions and a mini tutorial when you get it!

There are lots of great tutorials on the site, with photos, and step by step directions, which are very helpful. I myself an a very visual person! I often dont need directions but can figure it out by examining it. Must be my nursing skills shining through! LOL! More tutorials are planned in the future, which I think its neat for her to be so concerned that you get the maximum use from your Scor-Pal once its purchased! Alot of places dont care to continue to entertain uses for their product once its in your home.

Let me start by saying that before getting a Scor-Pal, I rarely scored my cards! I would often just fold them in half-then use a Pampered Chef stoneware scrapper (if even that) to get a crisp seam.

The result of that-due to heavy weight cardstock, would often be a cracked looking seam, sometime’s a bit crooked, and I would have to turn the card-inside out! NOT COOL!

The other way I would score my own designed boxes and whatnot was using my Fiskars Paper Trimmer

https://www.fiskarscrafts.com/tools/viewlarge.aspx?img=/tools/12-euro-personal-paper-trimmer/large.jpg

It had a scoring blade, that you could attach to the rail. While I didnt mind using that from time to time, it was annoying to change out the cutting blade, then keep sliding my paper along the the measurements I needed scored!

This is where the Scor-Pal comes in. I am now wondering HOW I made all that stuff I did without it! Since getting it, it has saved me time, and frustration, and gives me a real professional crisp line.

I planned on putting it under my desk after using it, but it hasn’t left my workspace since day 1.

I LOVE the fact that I dont have to even pick up my paper ONCE! I just score along the grid.

The grooves are deep, so no slipping out as you run your Scor-Tool down the line. I really like the little holder provided at the top of the Scor-Pal that holds that little Scor-Tool. I am one who would DEFINITELY “misplace” it if I didnt have that little holder! LOL!

It even had a button that allows you to POP it out of the holder! So no breaking those nails or getting annoyed that its “stuck” in there.

There is also a special slot under the Scor-Pal for another Scor-Tool! You can never have enough of those right? LOL!

The Scor-Tool in itself is cool because it’s shape makes it easy to grasp, and of course it fits perfectly in the grooves. It just has a nice “feel” to it, and isn’t made of anything that leaves those shiny marks on your paper like other tools might.

OK Now for the ONLY part Im not thrilled about. It really does need a few more scored  grooves. Like at 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 inch. You can of course start to score at the 1/2 inch mark, which you can find at the far end- 11 1/2 mark. This gives you that 1/2 groove. But there really is no beginning 1/4 or even 3/4 inch mark.

I have moved my cardstock along the Scor-Pal to get a groove where I need it, and at this point I’m OK with that.

I was told that a NEW Scor-Pal is in the works with MORE grooves! YEAH!!!

Diana is great about listening to what people think, and want.

At this point I use this tool EVERY time I stamp now! I feel like it was money well spent. Since I work on several design teams just mediocre work doesn’t cut it. Even if I weren’t I think we are always looking for ways to improve the overall appearance of our items.

I’m open to any feedback or questions you have!

Hope you get to try one out, or if you have one, lets hear your opinion on it!

Here I would like to share a quick bag cover I made using the NEW! Paper Trey set Beautiful Blooms.

Click on photos to enlarge. I just cut the top off one of her frosted Tin Tie Top Bags, and made a cute coverlet. The top flap slides under the ribbon to keep it closed! How cute would these be for gifts or favors at a Bridal Shower or Wedding even!

All a Flutter………..Im published

Sep 5, 2007 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Home decor/3-D items

WELL-if you happen to pick up the latest Special Paper Crafts Edition-Room to Room

alexa mirror Once Upon a Princess

Check out my Mirror on page 89!!!! It uses Alexa’s Set! Im WAY proud of that creation 😀 All procedes from that set benefit Pediatric Leukemia and Lymphoma Research! There is never enough money being raised for this cause!

I was quite excited to see it when my copy arrived. Yes, I am tooting my own horn-and dancing the GO! LAUREN! Dance- LOL! Im amazed how much BETTER my stuff always looks published! Maybe I need a new camera? For WORK purposes-insert evil grin! I already have the photo set up, so it has to be the camera right?

OK Done dancin-a blabbering.

flutter Hearts a Flutter ELEGANT

Do you notice that the flourish has an heart-just upside down? Am I just a dork who looks for stuff like this, or does it go with the mild OCD most of us in the craft have???

Anyway-I loved the iriony in it. This set is L’Amour, and the swirl is So Swirly. Both Lizzie Anne Designs Added a light touch of Martha Stewart glitter.

Well I THINK this is DRAGONFLY, and NOT a butterfly-BUT “I” want it to be a butterfly so lets go with that OK! The wings are stamped on a vellum cardstock layer as well-and dry embossed the details for some POP! Colored from the back with my COPIC markers. LOVE the look.

That wide Chocolate Satin ribbon by SU! is to DIE FOR!!!!!

I have some ROCKIN samples with this set-but Meridith keeps pulling them before I can post cause they are going into the Lizzie Anne Idea Book!! YUP! You read it right! They are having a cool Idea Book! How cool is that. Most of my bestest samples get pulled to go there. I believe its due out January! Ill keep ya posted OK!

Now as you will see both these card were sorta inspired by eachother-

The tall panel-and circled “butterfly”.  Each very different though-one is whimsical-the other elegant! I though it showed a bit of the versatility-IMO!

So I hope you like them, and get inspired to make similar cards-one elegant, and one whimsical using similar layouts-

flutter wishes Looking Up Whimsical

Its really alot of fun to try. SEE the similarities??

This whimsical card uses L’Amour, Jolies Fleurs, High Hellos. I designed it around my FAVORITE collection of Crate paper  the Birdie collection. Added some cute Prima’s (of course), and bling!

I thought the colors and sentiment really conveyed CHEER UP!

Im sending this one to my PSF Renee!!! She needs a little pick-me-up! Its hard when you have a friend that lives far away and they need a huge HUG! I know I’ve been there.

Thanks for lookin! Stay tuned for more eye candy as the little rascals are stuck in school! LOL! That means MORE MYTIME 😀

I also joined a Bloggers Challenge Club (thanks Stefanie), so every Friday I will be posting a creation based on a challenge!

See ya tomorrow.

Pumpkin Patch Pocket Pouch

Sep 4, 2007 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items

Well I want to say that I always appreciate the comments you all leave! And thanks for the prayers.

Your cooments always warm my heart, and make me laugh. Some things some share make me cry! LOL!

I love it all. Those that email-know I WILL get back to you-promise! Just been a tough day today.

I will post my Lizzie Anne samples tomorrow if Im not totally wiped out by the LONG day of Chemo for Alexa tomorrow.

Im a bit FREAKED out cause it turns out the during Amber’s 3 year check up today, they detected a heart murmur. She is getting set up to see a cardiologist soon. This murmur has never been picked up before, and I am told it doesn’t seem “serious”. Better to get it checked now, rather than later.

They really didnt seem concerned too much-just wanted it rechecked in a month-but to sooth ME decided to refer her to a cardiologist. I am very familar with all that crap cause Alexa had open heart surgery at 3 weeks old.

She has grown well, and doing great otherwise. Off the charts even for her height. So that is good-weight has stayed on the same “curve”. She will be tall and thin-most likely.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK had to get that out-It was a rather large long shriek/sigh here at home. On a better note: Lets get to stamping-my therapy! Which it sounds like Im gonna need alot of that! I sometimes think how great this hobby really is! IF I DRANK when I was stressed Id be getting more rehab than Lindsay Lohan! Maybe she need to get inking and stop the drinkin-

OK over it!

pumkin patch pocket Pumpkin Patch Pocket Pouch

HA! Now say that 5x’s fast! LOL!

I was suppose to share this yesterday, but decided to have it on its own.

This was a pouch I made using the new Halloween set by C.C. Designs (Fred and Bob). My Scor-Pal, made it super easy too.

WICKED SIMPLE! (Yes that is a Massachusetts thing I guess, and without realizing it I say it ALOT)

Cut paper same size as an A2 card (4 1/4 wide x 11 1/2 long), then score at the 5 1/2 mark. Score again at each bottom-2 inches. It then fold into a pouch. Inside are some glassine bags filled with candy by Paper Trey ink.

All I did was stamp the pumpkin on the left-on  my Paper Trey white cardstock, with Brilliance ink in graphite, then colored with my CopicMarkers. My Sam’s club glitter pens added dimension and BLING! You bet your sweet hiney when Christine gets in the Copic Glitter type markers they are SO MINE!!!!

The second pumpkin was stamped/colored/cut from scrap-then layered.

Paper frills by Doodlebug make the “grass”. All in all very simple. The ribbon is from Michaels.

Hope you like it!

Now I think I need to go chill out-

Penguins at Play

Sep 2, 2007 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items

pap front

OK so I didn’t want to wait till tomorrow to share this Paint can with you! I was just to excited about it.

Its called Penguins at Play Pail.

The set is called WINTER BLAST by MFT Stamps. I LOVE penguins!!! Another image Im a suver for. If its got penguins its got to be mine! I have several things being published VERY soon using this set. Its just too cute. I’ll let you know where, and when once I get the issue’s 😀

So upon altering this gift pail I thought snow hills would be the perfect cover! I liked being able to see into the top portion as well.

I used my CM Wavy Cutter for this. There are snowhills inside the can, and snowhills outside the can. I used my wide Martha Stewart glue pen-and dazzling diamonds along the tops of the hills.

I actually waited to stamp the images till the can was all decorated! LOL! Since the stamps are CLEAR-they let you see where you are stamping and are easier and more pliable to roll out onto a rounded surface.

I colored them with my Copic Markers.

For the top portion, it looked a bit stark! So I had some jewel snowflake STICKERS that I got LAST YEAR at Michaels! I was finally able to use them! Cool huh?

There are more views! The top photo is the front.

Click thumbnails to view larger!

side 1              side 2

The back I left alone. Ther are just snowflake stickers, and glitterfied hills. You could stamp your greeting there if you want, or put to whom its going to be for.

The top is just bashful blue cardstock, with a 3D snowflake sticker in the center. Didn’t want to go into OVERKILL!

Hope you like it 😀

WHAT! Its September! So much to share.

Sep 2, 2007 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Home decor/3-D items

OMG! I woke up this morning to realize not only is it actually September but its September 2nd! Where did the summer go??

I should have my daughter Alexa’s B-day invites ALL done by now! And ya know what? I have NO IDEA what I’m even doing!!!!!!!!!!! Her birthday is the 29th. I like to give at LEAST 2 weeks notice!

I know she will have a Princess Dress up Party where the girls will come in COSTUME,  decorate jewelry boxes, crowns, wands-and make their own necklace. I know I want to make her a Castle cake (Wilton cake classes dont fail me now!) and I have yet to finalize a date! Noah has Soccer games EVERY Saturday-as Im sure do most of the siblings of the girls I plan on inviting-so a Sunday Party may be in order. Plus we enrolled Alexa in Art Classes that are on Saturdays. She was upset we didn’t put her back in dance class ( we signed Amber up this year), but there are like 6 flights of stairs-that she will NEVER make it up, let alone have energy to DANCE! Her legs still hurt, and I cannot carry a 55lb 8 year old up all those steps!

Wow when your kids get into sports and stuff life gets INSANE!

I’m off the LAST BBQ of the season. I am making a BLT pasta salad. YUM!

Speaking of insane-

There are a few things I must share-again!

MFT is having a special this month! Check it out ———>HERE

shower time Baby Shower

You will get this set in the special for FREE!

This is Shower Time! My layers are lookin a little crooked but I swear they are straight! LOL! Its just the angle and dimensionals! I used Spring Showers by SU! for the Patterned paper. How perfect! The row of umbrella’s was a old SU! Set. Can’t remember tha name of it right now. I really love this set, and it makes me almost wish I had a shower to go to! I will be sending this one out to a PSF! She is expecting a BOY the end of the month! His name will be Josiah.

I also have another altered pail to share this week! Its WAY CUTE!!!!!!!!!

This set is from High Hellos. I LOVE it! Tomorrow I will share my idea for making the cloud! I have 2 samples you will see using the rocket image from the set.

The sun image is from their Celebrations II set. My paper is by K & co. I need to get a job with them! LOL! I LOVE their stuff! It inspired these colors which I really liked. Of course glitter makes any card POP!

All That Scraps-C.C. Designs just released the cutest Halloween set ever!!! AND lets not forget the Back to School sets. See my Halloween set samples below!

OK now I think that covers todays post!

Im getting ready to go to the BBQ, but first I think I’m going to hit AC Moore! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Happy Friday!!! Dont’ miss your chance at MYTIME MAIL!!! Click ——->HERE

I have tona to babble about, as I feel like Im on the phone sharing with a girlfriend. If you aren’t into the BLAH BLAH BLAH-scroll down to the cool Lauren’s Loot Bag.

I JUST got back from the dentist. I havent been in 10 years! HATE that place and would rather give birth again than go to the dentist-seriously! Id even take a PAP Smear over it.

After x-rays and whatnot I now remember WHY I hate the dentist-I have 11 cavities! HOLY CRAP! How many teeth are in our head? 32-and 11 of mine of ruined! After being told I have that many cavities I was then complimented that I have beautiful teeth, lots of protective enamel blah blah blah then told had I actually had my twice yearly cleaning Id be fabulous. Slapped on the wrist told to fix my cavities and keep up with cleaning and I will keep the pearly coffee yellows my whole life! LOL!

I was also asked how on earth I am even eatting due to one major cavity on my left side. Guess when you have given birth to 3 children and your daughter has Cancer some things just take a back seat and pain has a whole new meaning! OK sorry I have to make light that this 10 year avoidance is going to cost me over $2,000, as I also learned our dental cover more than ___________(insert whatever word you wish).

Let me say that I have enjoyed reading all your comments. Looks like alot of you NEED more stamp time 😀 AND you all need to post your creations MORE, and dont be afraid to participate in challenges. Its alot of fun and helps you grow as a stamper!

I am also happy to read I’m not the only hoarder of my stamped little treasures of art. I did feel more alone in the fact that Im not a good person and sends lots of RAK’s and just because cards. Its not that I dont have “peep’s” who would love it! I just never do it.

Upon reading the comments I found the site Cards For Cancer. I decided to take my Hoarded treasures and help a cause! I am sending them there! I have to go through my box- (make sure they are appropriate ones) but will post the photo of all the goodies I send there this weekend orsometime next week. We will see what our family Labor Day weekend has planned as to my free MYTIME.

Have any of you considered doing that?

Let me clarify that my intent for the questions was not to guilt you into purging. I just love hearing about my readers, and then this link popped up and there I was PMing someone about what they do!

Obviously I love to help in whatever avenue my stamping can make a difference-donating cards for cause, Alexa’s stamp set, Make A Wish set, YOU NAME IT. Last Christmas I donated a bunch of cards (over 1,000)  to Davids House for families of sick children. Anyway-wanted to share that with you.

NOW BACK TO THE GOODS

Well I thought it would be fun to share this idea I had while attempting a card that went WRONG! Its cool how a bad thing can be turned so good.

I decided it would be come a bag holder, due to the flap style. Since the idea was for Halloween treat bags I like to call it Lauren’s Loot 😀 With the help of my Scor-Pal, it was really easy to whip up. Love the crisp and profession score I get.

These came out cute, and were really fast and easy to make. I’m thinking this is the Halloween Lott bags my kids classes are going to receive.

ghostly loot Spooky Delight

This is the front view. The Ghost image by C.C. Designs (Halloween set releasing tomorrow) was actually stamped on white glitter paper by DCWV. The “moon” is a piece of banana cardstock punched with a 1 1/4 circle, and does have a Sakura glitter pen run along the edges. Sorry for the blurry photo.

The stars paper was a perfect cover for my bag front. Its the Rock Star stack also by DCWV.

Click the thumbnails to view images larger.

ghost loot side 1 View from side so you can see its a bag cover

ghost loot 2 Other side, flap open. The image is adhered to the flap portion so it open. THe image on the flap weighs it down so it stays closed.

DIRECTIONS

1)Take a white lunch sack or other bag, can cut down top to size.

In this case my bag is 3 1/2 wide by 4 inches high.

2) Cut base from cardstock or patterned cardstock. It should be a bit wider all around the bag.

      My example measures 4 1/4 x 6 1/2.

3) Score at 1 1/2 inches for the flap.

4) Use redline tape and adhere bag to base. Cover front of bag with piece of coordinating cardstock

DONE!!

Here is a supah cute sample for a shower Lauren’s Loot bag. This could be baby or bridal shower. Endless possibilities!

mft loot bag Shower Time

This one is cool cause the flap slided under the ribbon-so you can fit ALOT of goodies in there!

mft loot side 3 Side view  mft loot side 1  other side view bag full  side open mft loot Bag open

Well I hope you liked this idea, and if you attempt it please share a link to it for us! Very easy to do, especially for mass producing.

I’d love to hear what you think of my samples.

TOMORROW I announce the MYTIME MAIL winner, and have my Sketch Challenge. So for those who haven’t done any now is a great time to start!

Showered with flowers

Aug 28, 2007 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Home decor/3-D items

Todays post I have 2 things to share. One is a card using Shower Time byMFT Stamps. This set is due out for release September 1st. Its really cute.

Kim is also releasing the clear paint cans, ready to be altered, which you get a super cool “bundle” of things, which includes her favorite 48 Prismacolor pencils, Pebbles click eraser, sanding block, and of course a selection of blending stumps-all for only $75.

She is having a SPECIAL this month where each purchase of this bundle, will include the SHOWER TIME set FREE!!!!!!!!!!!  LOOKIE——–> HERE How cool!

If you are unsure if the Prismacolor pencils “match up” to the Crayola and Rose Art-well Gina K tested them! You can find that ——->HERE at Craft Critique.

So lets start with the paint can.

Fairy Tin Fairy Wishes for you.

I love the Princess Birthday set. This was the immediate set I thought of for creating a tin. Perfect ofr a little girl! The sentiment is from Bundles of Bouquet’s.

How cute is this to put a gift in (or store your Prismacolor pencils)?

I stamped the Fairy then used my coluzzel to cut around her. I LOVE images going outside the box., or um, oval! LOL! I just placed some Lily Kate Basic Grey cardstock in the can. I also used it for the lid, and her dress. The lid is a branch pattern, that I applied stickles to the flower centers. LOVE to paper piece too! See her dress! She was colored and stickles (strawberry) were added to the wings.

Ribbon is from Stampin Up! And Martha Stewart. The star is a bling sticker by A Muse.

Someone asked me yesterday where I buy my bling stickers. I get ALOT of them from the Michaels dollar bin! Others I get from online stores like eP. I also as said above use A Muse ones-but they are TINY so not as often as the others. Even Target sells them. BUY alot! I buy them constantly and its one of my most used products. LOVE THEM! Martha Stewart carries them as well-but in honesty they are little pricey.

Now onto my card.

Since I figured you will see ALOT using the MAIN image of the set (girl holding umbrella-GENIUS idea KIM!) I figured I’d do one with the little images. I love using smaller images to create a card.

This on was VERY simple.

shower flowers Shower of Flowers

I just aligned the flowers on my clear block (how nice is it that I can SEE what I’m doing!), and used my makers to color them. Stamped in a row-and 4 minutes later this entire card was D-O-N-E!

I intentionally left it blank. Im really bad about sending cards, so wanted to keep one ON HAND for any occasion.

The flowers are punched vellum cardstock using one of my many Martha Stewart punches. I then used some colorbox chalk ink, to brush the edges. Stampin Up Spring Bouquet punch is the smaller flower in the center. BLING always completes the project 😀

The ribbon is by American Crafts. I got it at Michaels. They sold it in a bigger single roll! WAHOOOO!

The colors are cameo (or guava?? so similar I can barely tell anymore) and Chocolate Chip.

Thanks for looking.

More here tomorrow!

HAPPY FRIDAY! YEAH!!!

Should be a good weekend here. A few things to share today-

I am very excited to be a part of the Scor-Pal Team! I now have have 2 tutorials you can find there!

Window Box

make a wish window box         side box

I was quite proud of this project. It uses the Make A Wish set by Gina K. $7 from the sale of EVERY set goes to the Make A Wish Foundation! A great way to give a dream to a sick child 😀

SUPPLIES: Obviously the Score-Pal. The paper is a stack by K & co. Ribbon is Martha Stewart (of course), and the Make a Wish was colored with Copic Markers. The star is a cuttlebug die cut, and the paper is DCWV Glitter stack. My magnetic closures are by Basic Grey. Go take a looksie.

This Window Box is a gusset box with a closeable flap that can easily house 4 cards (A2 size) and envelopes, as well as perfect use for whatever else you decide to fit in there! I love that you can peek at what is inside.

Read the tutorial linked above, for more info.

My next project features a perfect formula so you can quickly make your OWN envelopes in any size you want! Just use the formula. Once you get it down, you will whip up your own envelopes in minutes.

Make your own envelope formula

envy tutorial Here are a couple different sizes made using my formula.

I would love to get any feedback on the tutorials! That includes tutorial’s you’d love to see put on the site, or any other comments/questions you may have. I will answer any questions here on my blog for all to read, if there are any.

I hope you try them out. If so, send me the link 😀

Thanks for looking.

EDITED FOR QUESTIONS

Julie asked:

These projects look SO GOOD! I have a question about the scor-pal: It looks like it would be easy for me to ’swerve’ off of the scoring lines and mess up my project since there is no flat edge to run against. Do you ever have any problem with this?

Julie thats a great question. Have you used the Scor Pal yet? I ask because you mentioned it “looks like it would swerve off”. If not RUN! Go try it! LOL!

The grooves are deep, so that when you start scoring, your tool stays in the groove. I have had no problems with mine at all. I found it super easy to use. Let us know if you try it out and what you think.
