And let me tell you something Not all the times a specialist does a good job dyeing your hair, once the “specialist” damaged my hair so much that it was falling apart in pieces

I think you should have gotten darker. Your hair will lighten up A LOT in the next 4 weeks, you might not want the highlights! It looks great on you.
As for the flu, sorry I arrive after the battle but if anyone has signs of beginning of flu you need oscillococcinum (www.oscillo.com). It’s an homeopathic medicine that has no side effects and would be safe for alexa too, whatever other treatments she’s taking. I have been using this in France since I was a child and it works like a miracle cure at getting you rid of the bodyaches and chills…. And a lot of supermarkets carry it now (your beloved Target does…). Trust me on this one. I always have some at home and it “saved” me a couple of times!!
