Yes! I am alive!
I’m just super busy.
Thank you ALL for the comments on the party and all our new photos
The girls enjoyed me reading them everything.
So I do have something fun to share
A great project that I hope you will enjoy. It includes a video-so be sure to check it out!
Today I am being featured as a Guest Designer at Scrapbook News and Review!
You will need to go there to see my project and post today.
Well I wasn’t sure what to think when Erika emailed me, asking me to participate as their first guest designer!
My initial reply to Erika was-”I don’t scrapbook (well not much, and I’m not good at it), so I don’t know that I can be a guest!” She quickly replied that Scrapbook News & Review was all about everything! Just do whatever I want, and it should be fine.
Well, needless to say I was of course “nervous” about WHAT I would do! I always feel that way any time I’m “featured” in some way, be it a My Timeless Template release, group project, newsletter or of course-guest spot. I never want to disappoint anyone.
That being said I figured the majority of readers are most likely scrappers! So I kept in mind the fact that they ALL use photos-a lot! I knew I wanted to do SOMETHING special with them, but was unsure. Myself, on the hunt for great, inexpensive gift ideas found the PERFECT idea!
I HOPE you like it
(here is peek)
Hope you enjoy this project, and find the time to give it try for your gift giving this year, no matter what season, or occasion!
Thank you for joining me.

Aww… This is so cute, your beautiful little daughter (she really looks like she just walked off a magazine cover, and so do you for that matter) with the flowers around. Love it, though I think the coloring kinda looks a little odd (or perhaps it’s just the camera angle?). Can’t wait to learn how you did it!
It’s a great idea!! I loved it~~ I left a comment there as well as here~~ Wtg, that is perfect with the fact of wanting something homemade and not having money to do stuff!~ What a great way to use pictures….thanks for shareing~~

Lauren,
This is an absolutely beautiful project! Your directions are excellent! I can’t wait to try this myself. I do have one question…what is the tool called that you used to adhere the picture to the glass ornament?
Thank you,
Alli

Love this idea, Lauren. You are so talented. How did you choose the size to cut the picture? Just kind of eyeball it?
Lauren,
I LOVE these! I have a new grandson and plan on making these as Christmas gifts as well as some for myself! Also, what size circle punch did you use? This only works with circle/flat ornaments?
Thanks!

I’m attempting to make these for Christmas gifts for g-parents. I’ve been to Micheals and HL and no one had the rub onz. HL suggested the acrylic sealer then adhesive spray. I was wondering where you got your rob onz or what you thouht of their suggestion.
Hi Lauren,
I love these photo ornaments and will be teaching a class tomorrow night. I’ve been practicing and keep landing up with all kinds of wrinkles
I tried looking for answers here…what size circle did you use? Tool to adhere the rub onz. I hope you save the day!!!
Blessings,
Alli
