I have been addicted for quite awhile and LOVE Scal!! If you have any questions about it, you can contact me for help. Another way to get some great info is YouTube. Just do a search for Cricut or SCAL and you will find a wealth of info. FYI - You do need to insert a cart into the Cricut to cut with SCAL, otherwise the machine will not allow you cut. Also, to re-sticky your mats, wash the mats (I use a soft sponge in a sink with some dishwashing soap), dry off the mats and use the Zig 2 Way Glue Pen Chisel Tip and apply the adhesive in straight lines covering the entire mats. I let mine dry for about 1 1/2 hrs and then reapply the plastic liner. If you let them sit too long, the stickiness will not be as effective. The mats I use have been re-stickied probably 6 times now and still work great. Also Custom Crops is carrying a line of adhesive called Crafter's Companion that is supposed to re-sticky the mats, I haven't tried it so I can't verify that it works.
