Here is my sample using stamps from Lizzie Anne DesignsSpring Release!
Stamp: Garden Inspirations and Everyday Sayings.
I used the “spotlight” technique, which was FUN! I used a shimmery gray paint for backgrounds. I love the fresh, fun and FUNKY feel this has to it.
I don’t think I EVER used these colors together, so I enjoyed the challenge 😀
I cannot wait to see what everyone does.
Your turn!

my goodness lauren your card is GORGEOUS!! I can’t wait to start playing along with your challenges!
I love the spotlight technique. I’ve honestly never seen that before. If I have I didn’t know what it was called. Is there a trick to getting it to look as good as yours? Do you put the punched squares in place and then stamp so that it’s in the right spot? It looks like to me that you layered the squares on another black square. Is that right? Thanks for all you do. My craft room is painted and I’m in the process of organizing my new storage cabinet. I’ll be up and running soon I hope. 🙂
Love the color challenge.
But I especially love your inspiration piece. I ordered a custom bag from Janie at Clutterbags two weeks ago and am patiently waiting on it’s arrival!! I’m having her make a “Katie” wider bag with Amy Butler Olive Lace and Lime dots. It was so hard to pick! She has some great designs. You must post a pic of your’s when you get it!
Oh, I cannot wait to play along. Those are some great colors. Great job DT!!!
I haven’t used these colors together but I will have to try it out. It isn’t fun if it doesn’t really challenge you, right?
Yay Lauren! I love the color inspiration you chose! Super fun colors. Your card turned out lovely with the spotlighting and great layout.
See you tonight on the hop!
Lauren I am so happy that you have chosen to do other challenges along with your sketches. I adore your sketches, but I think these other challenges will be a ton of fun!! 🙂 I love the bag you chose for inspiration! I think it is great to support other crafters out there, and you did so by choosing one as inspiration. I can’t wait to see who else is on your DT!!
