I haven’t made an ATC (for those of you wondering Artist Trading Card size 3 1/2 X 2 1/2) in YEARS!!!!!!!! I use to join Jen del Muro’s exclusive ATC swaps years ago, and that was the ONLY time I would make them. That was FOREVER and a day ago. WOW! Time flies. We are all now so busy, I think swapping is the LAST thing on our minds (or to do lists).
Nichole had the girls on the Papertrey Ink team partake in a special project-for some lucky winner 😀 Read about that HERE!!!
We each had to create an ATC.
Our ATC is suppose to be a mini canvas, that should represent us and our personal style. It also had to be signed (OYE! I HATE my handwriting but OK!)
Anyway I KNEW exactly what I wanted to do!!!
I think this is very reflective of me, my personality, and stamping style.
My favorite colors these days are Raspberry Fizz, Ripe Avocado, and a pop of black!
I’m in LOVE with the new With Sympathy set.
I love butterflies so that was a no brainer. I had to make it 3d with some sparkle of course!!
I love flourishes, and tulips are my FAVORITE flower-so I used the blossom from Borders & Corners Rectangle set
The sentiment from Out on a limb sent is the perfect message I hope to convey to the world every day! I try to do that myself.
So this is what I came up with.
Live the life you imagined.
Aside from my signature-I love it and feel it is reflective of me.
What do YOU think?
I had SOOOOO much fun making an ATC again. I love to then take the mini masterpiece and layer it onto a card.
One more view.
Now time to see what everyone else did.
Its an amazing collection of our personal style’s I feel. You will be amazed at how different such a small area to work with can actually be.
Thanks for stopping by.
Now I would LOVE to know-
What would YOU include in a mini “masterpiece” that YOU feel is a reflection of yourself , personal style (like colors, simple layout etc) and what you love?

An ATC would have to include the color blue, a swatch of fabric or better yet a quilt block stamped image (for my love of quilting, an image of a book (I’m a librarian), and probably some type of image of a house (home/family).
That’s pretty much me in a nutshell. Love your ATC Lauren. Even just knowing you through your blog – it seems very Lauren like. All the best!
For me there would have to be lots blues, flowers and a butterfly somewhere or a lighthouse, especially the lighthouse. Beautiful ATC Lauren.
I would have to say blue of some sort….teal, aqua work too and umm, hmmm well probably flowers too!!
Beautiful ATC Lauren!!
Now this is a beautiful ATC! Mine would definately have blue, probably different shades of blue, and BLING must have BLING. I’m afraid of ‘open space’ so I tend to sponge and stamp alot. TFS this beautiful card.
This is really lovely Lauren. I too love “open spaces” on cards and ATC’s. I think ATC’s are my favorite thing to stamp. I also go for the pink colors so your ATC is perfect in my book. I am certain I would not have thought of the ribbon on the side. I think that is quite special. I also love the way you have showcased teh entire ATC. Nice work, young’un.
I really like how you staged your photograph area with the same colors you used in your art Lauren. What a fabulous ATC this is too; so reflective of you!
Mine would have to have purple in it for sure, along with Iris which is my favorite flower.
I just got through doing a ATC full of scripture from a challenge on Faith Sisters. They are a lot of fun to do…a challenge in itself, having gone from doing 12 x 12 album pages!! I love the colors you chose…great job!!
Carolyn
Beautiful, love the butterfly and so good to use the saying you like so well!
I would probably do pinks and greens, and there would have to be flowers and sparkle!
I love the whole ATC “idea”. I have never made any of them, but I think I might have to now 🙂 Love your color combo!
I would definitely have to have red with zebra print with some polka dot Primas and stickles. Probably sounds busy but I have Zebra stuff everywhere in my house and I love it!
Amber
Your ATC is so *you*. I love it! Mine would be random stuff scattered all over – you know, like my mind. 🙂 Seriously, it would have carefree swirls, wildflowers and perhaps some butterflies.
Hugs,
Renee
Lauren ~ your ATC is lovely, especially with the delicate butterfly in motion at the very top 🙂
I’ve always been attracted to ATC’s as well as the new “Inchie” category (same thing but only a square inch is used to display your work), but have never been part of a Swap unfortunately.
My ATC would have to include some funky colours along with images that are bold and quirky 🙂 Yup that pretty much describes me ~ some of the time! I’d love to be part of a swap at some point in the future, so if anyone knows of an upcoming gathering or is trying to put together a group, PLEASE contact me @ [email protected]
Can’t wait to see all the PTI releases coming up 🙂
I absolutely think you nailed this one and it seems very Lauren like – love the colors.
I think mine would have SU’s certainly celery color and something with gerber daisies – I don’t know what it is about them – they just make me smile.
Thanks for sharing.
