I LOVE this card 😀
It was made before my mojo went on the fritz! LOL!
The colors are just so cheery to me. Perfect teacher of back to school card.
I am praying for a day of “quiet” while the kids are ALL in school and back to perfect health, so I can get some MOMMY time. Lately I’ve either been ill or running everywhere in creation for everyone.
I know it sounds “selfish” but we ALL need to do something for ourselves. I’m a firm believer in that. When mom is stressed then it takes a toll on everyone!
My motto is “Do something to make yourself happy-everyday!”
Sometimes that is just impossible. I am determined to get ONE day this week to get done everything I need to.
OK onto the card
Creating a “scene” was super easy because I used the elements in 3 Lizzie Anne Designs stamp sets Winter Release with some masking-
The bus/sentiment-Things that go
House and tree-Welcome Home
Girl/books-School Days
I then just drew on my “street” and made some grass. Sponged a sky-and was done!
OK now I need to run. Lots of running around to do.
Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow I WILL have a video for the MFT Blog Hop!
Till then

Very cute card!! I think your motto is a good one!! Sometimes we forget about ourselves because we think it being selfish. Hope all is feeling a whole lot better real soon!!
This is so cheerful – just what I need to see. Seems my mojo is AWOL as well.
At least I can still see some pretties- thanks!
I feel really silly asking, as it appears everyone else knows what it is but…. what’s a mojo?
Hi Lauren!
I agree with you on the cheeriness of the card!
Hope you get your much deserved “Mommy” time to be able to get some stamping/playing in and some R&R!

Such a cute card and as a teacher I would be lucky to get one so beautiful. Glad you and the kids are feeling better. Sickness is no fun, especially when children are concerned. Thanks for the cheer you put in my day!
WOW, that is one bright card. It sure looks like it was lot of fun to make :o)
Oh man!!! I didn’t realize I was out of the loop for so long and missed out on some awesome prizes. Oh well, such is life.
I am so sorry to hear about your troubles this week. I sure hope that most of them are taken care of. I had no idea that Verizon was bought out. I will have to see if my parents and sister were affected by it.

Hi Lauren ~~ I adore you daily *Motto* and feel if we all achieved one thing, that made our days happier, we’d have a different world for the better :o)
Your card is sweet ~ I adore the bus & girl image ~ your drawing by hand is priceless.
Hope everyone in the household is getting better and better with each passing day. xo
What a super duper fun card!! And so versatile! You could give a whole set of them to a teacher to use as note cards. I know I always have a supply in my desk when I need to write out a quick thank you.
You are ABSOLUTELY right Lauren, you need to have your time otherwise you are no good to anyone else. There is nothing selfish in that. And I LOVE your card!!! Hugs!
I like the colors that you used on your card – so vibrant! Going off the subject of cards, how do you get that white square around your photo? I’ve been unsuccessful in Adobe so far. I love your work!
So fun Lauren, I love the wonderful colors!!
Such a cute card! I love the primary colors.
