   Okay Lauren, do not put pressure on yourself to blog while you are all so sick. Everyone needs some time off and you certainly deserve. Get as much rest as you can, drink lots of fluids and I hope the whole family is feeling better soon.

   Hope you guys feel better soon! I heard that you can put Vicks Vapor Rub on the bottom of your feet and it will STOP the coughing within five minutes. My sister just did it to her 5 year old son last week and it worked great for her!

   We will say a prayer for you!

    So sorry to hear kidlettes are sick. Someone told me if you rub vicks on the bottom of your feet it stops coughing. My husband used Buckley’s cough syrup when he had the cold before Christmas and was finally able to get some rest at night. Take care and hope everyone is feeling better soon. Ann Lind

    So sorry to hear you and your loved ones are so ill! That’s horrible! Wish you lived nearby, I’d bring some chicken matzah ball soup over and you’d all be better in no time!

    Know how you feel, I have five kids down with chicken pox and overwhelmed this week also. Hang in there, this too shall pass! Was hoping you switched back to utube; haven’t had a chance to google this veoh.

    Wishing everyone better health…especially Alexa. It can be frustrating and utterly exhausting to care for sick kids, especially when you get sick yourself! Take this time to care for yourself and your family…we’ll all still be here when things get back to normal.

    OH man darling! (((HUGS)) my Isaac(5yr.old) is sick something funky going on.. Thurs.after school came home fever all afternoon/night Friday whole day couldn’t even get up a slight cough take him to the doc Saturday and made me look like a crazy mama as he had NOTHING! Ha… Sunday good.. Monday good,Yesterday came home fever Now with a cough GRRRR germsssss.. and this Am has a GRRRRROSSS cough slight fever… and trying to keep DD away from him which is like telling a bee not to look for flowers… SOOO what is the point of this post.. lol I feel your pain love! (((HUGS))) I am taking all I can not to get sick…and yes sleep oh that would be nice…lol

    It has been a horrible winter for all of those germs! My kids had all of that stuff yours have right now and it looks like round two is starting because the 3 year old was coughing all night last night. Not to mention the 10 inches of snow we are in the processs of getting. It’s a good day to stay on the couch and do nothing! Hope everyone is better soon!

    Lauren, my son has had the same thing Amber has. He’s been to the walk-in med clinic twice and neither time did the meds work for him. I’m finally making him an apt. with his pediatritian today. Hope you and yours get well soon!

    Hi Lauren, I’m so sorry that your kids are sick. I don’t have kids, but I do have a husband and I had that ucky cough and cold and double ear infections, ( he was worse than a kid, I think). Any who, yes the vapor rub on the bottom of the feet and then put socks on, keep them warm and this will take that ucky cough away like the next day. Also, warm tea with honey will sooth the throat. Hope everyone gets well soon and you get some needed sleep. Keep warm! Judy

    So sorry everyone is sick and I agree with everyone else, don’t stress yourself to blog, get those kids well first and be careful you don’t come down with a combination of everything they have. Take care of yourself and get some rest.

    Sorry to here about the sick babies

    for the cough that last keeps them up at night. Vick’s on the bottom of there feet and cotton socks. I know it sounds wierd, but wht’s weirder it works.

    Sorry to hear your kids are sick 🙁 That isn’t fun at all. Everyone in our family was sick over Christmas (puke and the runs) and I was lone man standing so I empathize with you!!! Hope they get better soon, hope you can get some sleep soon, and also hope you can get some time away to stamp for your own sanity! Blessings.

    Ok, the vicks on the feet does work! My Grams (92) told me about it and I have done it for years with my boys. I take generic vicks from Wal Mart and put a thick “layer” on the bottom of their feet then put socks on them. Normally in about a half hour the coughing has stopped and they sleep which is the best part for them and me…. Take care – Love ya! ~ Lisa

    Oh Lauren as we say in our house “You are a mess in a dress” (this is intended to make you giggle). I am sorry that your children and you are all sick with quite a varity of illnesses I must say. I hope you will all be up and running soon. I am also sorry for the gloomy weather forecast as well. Try to stay inside and dring a lot of hot tea with honey.

    Some times we have to cry Uncle and just try to rest up I hope you get the chance to do that soon. You are always so up beat and hard working I think it is totally fine to take a few days to not only take care of the kids but of yourself. We will see you when we see you so please take care.

    3 sick kids and Mom’s not sounding too good either! Like I said before, I don’t know how you accomplish all that you do – even when everyone is well and happy. Now you must feel like you’re swimming against the current with one hand tied behind your back! My sympathy for your plight. Even though our boys are all grown up now, I remember those days.

    I totally understand girl. These icky bugs have hit us twice this winter already. My son had coupe for 5 days. Longest ever! i was so hard listening to him barely being able to breathe. Poor thing.
    Then I got strep
    Then son got an icky tummy
    Now I have an icky tummy.

    Hubby was smart.. he kept his distance. lol I need to learn from him and STOP spending time with my son when he’s sick I guess. LOL

    I remember all to well the days (and worse, the nights!) of sick children. But to be honest, I miss the cuddles and caring for them. Mine are all grown now and it’s only my husband who gets sick…children are easier. Lot of liquids, a humidifier, and hope all feel well soon. Your cards a videos are wonderful. mj
