Oh my word girl….you sure have a lot of stuff crammed nicely into there! My space is in the basedump but like you, I have it organized and know what is where and when I need something I can easily get it! Thanks for sharing your space!
Great job Lauren! It was like “visiting” with you. It makes me more anxious to get moved and to decorate my new craft space. I am sure that I will be using some of your storage tips.
Hi Lauren! I am in awe…I thought “I” had a lot of stamping stuff!!! You did a fantastic job with this video!!! Lots of GREAT ideas!!! You are definitely an inspiration…I enjoy viewing your blog every day!!! I don’t get to stamp as often as I would like….so I live vicariously through YOU!!! I am going to be making pocketbook invitations for my soon to be 6 year old daughter’s b’day party…I’ll have to send you a pic when I complete them. She has decided on a “spa” theme….should be fun. We are going to have it at our house. I’m going to make signs “Jillian’s Day Spa” “Walk-Ins Welcome” “We do Birthday Parties”, etc. I’m trying to get the creative juices flowing……..Look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future. Big Hugs, Jenn
Thanks SO much for sharing your stamping space with us! I always find it helpful to see how other papercrafters store all their supplies. The videos are great!! Looking forward to more of them. Don’t stress about the bells and whistles of it all. Just you sharing your information is enough of a treat!!
Thanks for sharing your creative niche. You do such beautiful work and it shows how little space it takes to store everything and have a workable space. The video was great it was kind of like having a real tour. TFS Ann Lind
Thanks for sharing Lauren. I always love looking into other peoples scrap rooms. I always seem to pick up helpful hints from every room I see. As my supplies continue to grow I am always rearranging and trying to organize my room. Again thanks…especially for all the time you spent making the video. I do appreciate it and look forward to seeing more. Thanks again for all the inspiration. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your organizational tips. I love that you use inexpensive items that are readily available. I would love to see you make some altered items using your templates.
Hugs girlie–you did a great job with the video! Thanks for sharing your space. It’s always nice to see where the magic happens. It’s great to have a system and I like how you maximized the use of your walls–that is definitely in the plans for me when we move this spring. Now if only we could move a target to Canada.
Great video, Lauren! It’s always so much fun to see where others do all of their creative work! I will be moving into a new home soon, and will have a separate bedroom as my stamp room. Have been gathering a ton of ideas, and your “virtual tour” has given me some great ideas as well. Thanks again for taking your time to present this to us!
Wow! I love how you keep everything so organized! My space is probably 3 times as big and I don’t have 1/2 the amount of stuff you do and I still can’t seem to keep it organized! I am learning a lot from you 🙂 Great job on the video and thanks so much for sharing 😉
Great video! Your space is so well kept… I too have to have mine that way…:0)
reflections:0)
I thought that you did a great job, loved the tour too. I can’t wait for more to come. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, love your craft space. I am like you, very limited on space. I also don’t own as much as you but slowly getting there. I love the idea about the scrap paper. I just throw it all in a box and don’t have any organization. Your solution is cheap and easy to do.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing us where you create and showing us what you use and how you use it! Very helpful and Great Job 🙂 {hugs}
Great tour! 🙂 I take it that this other place allows longer videos, eh?? That’s great! Nice editing too… looking forward to your next installment 😉
Hi Lauren –
I’m relatively new to Papertrey Ink and discovered your blog through them. I just finished watching your stamp space video. Wonderful. I’ll be converting my son’s bedroom into a sewing/stamping space after he gets married in June. (I’m a quilter too!) Your video had just the type of practical advice I’m looking for. It was inspiring to see that one doesn’t need a lot of space to be creative. It’s all in the organization. Thanks for taking the time to put something like this together and for sharing it so freely.
All the best,
marycstamps (in Carol Stream, IL)
Lauren, great video, again! I wish everything really was $2! I’m so excited to finally get a Target out here in Hawaii (I think March?). Seems like you find so many great things there.
Thanks for showing us around your stamping room, and for making us super envious! Great ribbon stash, by the way! :o)
Kristi
That was truly helpful! I realized that most of my wasted space is on the walls since I have no cabinets. I’ll have to see if I can remedy that sometime.
As for something I’d be interested in, I know this is going to sound hilarious, but I’d love to see how you sketch out your ideas in your sketch book. I’ve never learned to sketch my ideas, so I just have to pull everything out and start physically working with it until I get what I was envisioning.
I’m looking forward to more videos!
Great video! I am in desperate need of new ribbon storage. We don’t have Ace Hardware, but I’m sure any hardware store should have the can racks. Great idea, thanks!
It’s always fun to see how others organize their goodies. Fun little video. When I saw the text about how you keep from losing clear stamps and the next thing you showed was your TV I thought you were going to say that when you were done with a clear stamp you just stick it to the TV screen! LOL:)
I love that you are doing video now the birthday organization video is that coming soon that’s the one I want so I can make my mom’s birthday present she will love that box Thanks Michelle Degener
What an awesome stamping space you have! I love that everything is within your reach and SO organized!
My space is my entire living and dining room and is not quite so well put together, but I do know where everything is if that counts for anything!
Can’t wait to see what other fantastic videos you share with us.
Are all your videos going to be in Veoh from now? I am in South Africa and we are not allowed to access Veoh : (
Very cool – I have closet-space (literally) for my meager supplies (by comparison!) and I’ll be adopting some of your ideas-tips so I can acquire more … oops …. no, I meant, so I can be more organized! LOL Thanks for sharing. (BTW my office-mates loved the video too!) Looking forward to next week’s.
Marta
I love visiting with you everyday. It was fun to watch you on your video. Just one thing! Relax! We’re not here to judge you, we’re here because we love the artist in you. Can’t wait to see your next video. I’ve heard so much about JustRite stamps, but haven’t been able to find anything that really shows how they work. I’d love to see that! Keep up to great work!
Great job on your video. I am amazed at how much stuff you have in such a small smace. I, for one, would be claustrophobic. I am always reorganizing and cleaning up, yet never have a clean space at my table. You’re really good! I salute you!
Holy Smokes, Batman!! Girl, you have alotta SCHTUFF!! hehehe Loved the video, you do a fabulous job of describing your space and all the wonderful and economic ideas for storage. Some of your written words flash on kinda fast – I’m a fast reader, but I can’t read THAT fast! Hehehe And it’s not ALL the words – just a few here and there. All in all, your space looks really cute and cozy – no wonder you like to spend so much time in there!! I love being surrounded by all my stuff, too. Thanks for working so hard to help us. You are so generous with your talents and time, and I certainly appreciate it! Have a great day!!
Lauren, you are just too hard on yourself. The tour was great!! My husband abandoned the basketball game to watch with me and said the same thing. My stuff is spread throughout the house since I have a corner in the living room, but I know where it all is. One of these days I’ll get it all organized, but until then I can dream.
Great job on the video! Love seeing your space and surprised at how small it is. Mine is very small as well and I agree organization is key.
But HOW do you find the time to create and now do videos??
Good Stuff my dear!
Wow! Thanks for sharing your wondeful stamp room. I got a couple ideas to see if they work in my stamp room
Hi Lauren, thanks so much for showing us your stamp room! I think it’s great and love how you have used shoe holders for your punches etc….i might try that one, and also look into racks for ribbon. Can you ask Target to open a few stores here in the UK?? lol…I’d love a video about Just Rite stamps. I am wanting to purchase my first JR stamps but am not sure which ones to get and i would love to see how they ‘work’! I’m looking forward to seeing what a photo tent is too ~blush~….I have alot to learn lol! Keep up the great work and thanks again, Stephanie.
Hi Lauren, Great video. Thanks for showing us your great craft space. Looking forward to your next video!
Julie
Oh my Gosh! Great job on your video! You have soooo much stuff! I’m so jealous, LOl! I like the cubes. Oh, and the rack that sits on the table? I loved that too. Getting one of those too!
Kris
Thanks so much for the tour. You make me feel GOOD. Everyone teases me about all my ribbon, but you can’t work without a great selection and you can’t stop in the middle of a creation and go to the store!!! You do a fantastic job of organization. I have a 12X13 bedroom with 2′ wide counter top all around, paper storage is vertical and rolling drawer carts under neath. And I still need more room. Of course I also share this space with the computer, sewing machine and embroidery machine. But there is always something new you NEED!
I am so jealous of how organized you are….Your video is great!
I was wondering about your little sewing machine, What kind is it and where did you get it?
I am always wanting to saw my cards and don’t because I don’t want to haul out my huge sewing machine and I hear alot of smaller machines don’t do so well with paper, so I don’t want to try it and waste the money….
Lauren, thanks for the tour of your craft room. I want to be so organized like you are! I have an office where I’m going to organize all my stamping stuff. Right now everything is in huge tubs and I can’t find anything. I’ve started by sorting things out, so seeing what you use to store different items is very helpful – and thanks for sharing all your great cheap finds!! I’m ready to get organized now!
what will happen to us that can’t view videos?? no pics??
Lauren – thanks for showing us your crafting space. Oh my gosh – I can’t believe you have all of that stuff in there – and so well organized, too! I always love to see how other people organize their space.
Thanks for the virtual tour of your scrap space. i love the hint about keeping an acrylic block out to hold the stamps as you go along as i lost a small word stamp over the holiday and spent so much time looking for it and I eventually found it stuck to a roll of tape! I love the cupcake stand idea also… So many good ideas. Now to organize myself!
Loved it! I don’t think I’ve ever watched a video online, but had to see this and glad I did. 🙂
Great space, I was most curious how you store your acrylic stamps since that is my dilema right now, I have a photo box full of them and was trying to get a better way of storing them.
I finally got to watch this with speakers (makes a difference) and now I’m ready to go reorganize my room! Thanks so much for taking the time to make, edit, and post the video!
My only problem with the vid is I *think* I can hear your children VERY faintly in the background and I keep thinking it’s DD waking up !!! LOL!!!! Love your space – LOVE the organisation!! We don’t have Target here :C xx
