Please scroll down today! I have like 6 new posts :D Yes, I am insane. Blogging took longer than my projects! LOL!
Thanks for reading.
OK everyone-I actually got this to work! Im seriously doing a dance in front of my computer right now.
I KNOW it's NOT Monday, but I planned on featuring my videos on Monday's, and this was suppose to be done yesterday, so go with me here.
Thanks to Sara Williams-my blog girl!! She designed my blog and helped me with this concept for WordPress and enabled my video features, which I didn't have before.
Now, before you watch please realize I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I just tried fiddling around with everything, just to see if I could even get this to work. I just wanted to get my HELLO WORLD uploaded.
I do have my first video tutoiral ready to go for my Papertrey Ink newsletter! YEAH! So be watching for that. I am including directions for those who don't have high speed internet :D
I felt like the biggest geek, sitting there, talking at the camera. No one even around to "listen" or guide me. If anything you will get a good giggle :D I hate my voice, had a bad hair day, and don't forget the camera adds 10lbs! LOL!
I swear my next video will be more professional and I hope I can figure out some of the cool editing software my program has. I didn't have "segments" like I would if doing a tutorial so even attempting some of the features was pointless.
Also note-this is like talking to yourself. I honestly hate watching this video, but after a million tries figured I better just go with it. Just be myself, and no focus on every little mistake, or my talking with my hands, and moving my head constantly. You will see Im definitely ALL valley girl :D Oh and my voice-gosh I don't sound like that in my own head. Oh well.
I think once I get into the stamping part of doing a tutorial then it won't be so awkward. I'll be in my element, and not starring at a camera making a one sided conversation with myself! I'll have the camera over my shoulder instead.
Anyway-I am just excited that this will open up a whole new, hopefully more exciting venture on my blog with this new year!
So here I am-feeling like I am naked, in front of the world :C EEK!
All in all I'm still excited.
PS! I will work on the lighting! I had to film it at night because during the day the kids were running around and wanting to be on camera. Then I had Daisy chasing the cat, and then again you could hear the kids KILLING eachother upstairs! LOL! So, Ill do daylight stuff from now on and you can get a chuckle from my house drama! LOL!
OH BTW my video tutorial is going LIVE 10pm on the 15th. It was kinda dark like this-sorry :C
PPS- I have NO IDEA why its instant playing but promise they won't all do that.I have to figure out what I set, and HOW I set it. Told you this was a big process! LOL! For now just hit stop so my Fran Dreshcer voice doesn't play endlessly :C
Thanks for the feed back :D

Thumbs up!! I’m sure that was really intimidating to post and I know I would feel the same way about my voice and my appearance and everything but we’re our own worst critics! I’m super excited about your video tutorials and can’t wait!
Wonderful job Lauren. Now I get to hear you and put a voice to all of your wonderful art work. Only 1 thing, there might be more lighting needed. Can’t wait for your tutorials.
Thanks much
Thumbs up! You’re too cute! And so brave for putting a video out there! Can’t wait to see your stamping tutorials. You are one of my “I want to be like her when I grow up” stamping celebrities!
You’re a brave girl, Lauren! It’s a good start, loved it — and since your talking is much like your writing, it seemed like I’d always been “listening” to you. Looking forward to seeing what’s to come. Thanks for “putting yourself out there!”
Great job!!!
Well, I think you look so cute and I am really looking forward to watching all your videos. If you are as careful with the videos as you are with the written tutorials, you’ll definitely have a winner! Thanks for being brave enough to do this! You definitely have a fan club here!
Good for you! And I thought starting up my blog was a big deal today…but you and the videos!! You are my hero! 🙂 Looking forward to your Mondays with My Time on camera and every other day here reading your blog. You are such an inspiration!
This is going to make your blog EVEN BETTER!!! Yeah!! I can’t wait to just watch you make something!! It is nice to see how the “pros” go through the making process. Thanks for all the hard work!!
Lauren, you were great on video. Now I really feel like you are a good friend. LOL. I will always click on your blog every day.
Maybe a little more light…

The video was great Lauren, looking forward to seeing you do more of them.
PS You have a lovely voice, don’t be so hard on yourself!
You are just too darn cute! Thank you so much for putting yourself out there….your blog is a constant inspiration and I can’t wait to see your tutorials! Thanks again and great job on the video! I’m super excited for you and for all of the “mytime” followers!!

Lauren you did great!! It’s quite an intimidating process I know – I just made one for my VSN challenge on Saturday – yikes!! It’s sooooooo hard to watch yourself!! I had my children help me (stopping/starting the camera, etc) so it didn’t feel so much like I was talking to air. But then we only did it like . . . 50 times!! LOL!! Great job girl – nice to “meet” you this way! Looking forward to more! 🙂
Thumbs up! Your photo tutorials are so helpful, and your blog is just wonderful to read…I think your addition of videos is such a good idea because seeing the process real-time is even more helpful (I don’t have a stamp club to go to, so it’s like having a live teacher!!!).
Thanks for all your hard work and sharing your creativity!
GREAT JOB Lauren!!! I LOVE it. It’s so cool to actually put a voice with the picture. Also, I so admire you for just putting yourself out there, so to speak. I know it feels akward and strange and you are going to nit-pick everything you do, but just remember we that visit your blog are thrilled to “see” you. In fact, I’m hoping you will add a video every now and then to “hang out” with us and tell us what’s been going on. Oh……….it would also be fun to watch your kiddos doing a project with you. So sweet!
Oh my gosh – you are so adorable!! Great job and good for you for stretching yourself like this.
LOVE the video Lauren! Great job. I also want to thank you for all that you post. I don’t know HOW you do all that you do. You’re an inspiration. Thank you!
I just wanted to say great work. I thought maybe something on organizing. I give you all fingers up. Great job. Can’t wait to see your tutorial. I was wondering if you could do some of your old tutorials on your camera
VERY brave, in deed! And, yes, I totally hear the valley girl in you, but it’s great, and I’m TOTALLY looking forward to your “live” tutorials! Thanks for doing this, you’re really awesome and inspiring!
Girl, you are too hard on yourself. You did fantastic and I can’t wait to see your tutorials. Congratulations on this big cyber step!
Oh my goodness Lauren, you are so sweet!! Definitely 2 thumbs up!! Way to go, I’m sure it took way more courage than I have!! Can’t wait to see your tutorials!!
Great first effort, Lauren! Can’t wait for the first lesson!
Totally thumbs up— What a fun way to get more personal with your readers! Can’t wait to see your first “over the shoulder” tutorial! I always love your projects, it will be fun to see them “in action!”
This is my first post Lauren because I wanted to give you a thumbs up!! It is SO hard to put yourself out there, but you did a great job! Love your projects, thank you for sharing your talent!!
I am so dang proud of you, Girlfriend! You did it! And, you did a wonderful job!
I would agree with you about ‘talking to yourself’ – it would be difficult for me too. I’m sure it will become old-hat before you know it.
I’m looking forward to seeing all your future videos. The best part will be seeing the Stamping Godess in action! It will be the next best thing to being in the same room as you!
Way to go, Lauren!
Hugs,
Renee
So, I just re-read this and noticed that you did this at night…. 2:00 in the morning! You look great for it being that late. I turn into a pumpkin after midnight. I might be awake, but I look like a pumpkin! LOL
I think you did a fabulous job, Lauren! I come to your blog every day – sometimes several times a day just to see if you have anything new! I love all of your ideas and creations! Congrats on your first video. You did awesome!
Oh my gosh girl! You are so cute! 🙂
I love your voice – and I detect a bit of an eastern accent! I did not link your voice with you – I don’t know what I expected, but I was so happily surprised. You sound just like someone I would love to talk to for 3 hours on the phone!
You are so real – so genuine! I *heart* you! 🙂
~Kendra

Great job of introducing yourself & telling us whats in store with you & your new videos! I look forward to seeing your tutorials & just be you thats all we ask & you’ll be fine, none of us are perfect (as much as we all would like to be, but really impossible). Good luck Lauren!
Lauren – it was great once i found the video. I listened to the audio twice before I located the video. I commend you for even doing this. I can stand in front of 30 folks but don’t stick a camera in my face. looking forward to your future videos!Yah, Lauren!! 🙂
Fran Dreshcer – NOT! It’s just different from what you hear in your head… not awful at all. You sound like you look – pretty, upbeat and real. I think that beside than your fabulous crafting inspiration it’s you and how you put yourself out to us that I love about your blog. No pretentiousness here! Someone who can be “nekid” in front of all of us is like a dear, sweet friend. You bless us all by being here. Thumbs UP!
Thumbs up!!! I am very excited too! I can’t wait to see your tutorials! I also would like to hear some tips and tricks!

This is awesome that you’re putting yourself out there in this way, i’m sure that all of your readers will really enjoy seeing you work! I love your blog, you do some amazing work…and look forward to your videos!
I have to say, I have your blog in my reader, and this morning all of a sudden I started hearing your video very lightly in the background and couldn’t figure out what it was! I thought my computer was possessed…I had nothing open with a video, and I could barely hear it. Then I realized that I could hear the video through the reader (which normally doesn’t happen)! 🙂
You go girl!!!! Great job!!! I do have a suggestion for a tutorial…. how to use the copic markers I want to make the investment but am worried that I won’t be able to make my coloring as good as eveyone elses. Thanks for I you do I love EVERYTHING!!!!!
Definite Thumbs UP! you did great and I can’t wait to “hear” the first tutorial. (This is going to be so hard … I usually check your blog at work … oh well maybe some of my colleagues will become interested in stamping LOL). WTG girl!
Great job Lauren! Definately thumbs up!
No need to be so hard on yourself – all you do is heartfelt, genuine and inspiring, and we all appreciate and admire the hard work and love you put into all of your posts.
I love your blog, your projects and your spirit. Thank you for all that you share.
Two thumbs up. Great job on the video, Lauren. I get tired just thinking of all the things you accomplish. Thanks for doing the video tutorials. Never thought I’d be anxiously waiting for Mondays to come.
I agree with you about having a one-way conversation-gotta be hard! But you did great! I’m sure it will get easier for you as you get more comfortable with it. I so appreciate everything you do on your blog and look forward to seeing your videos. You go girl!
Awesome job, Lauren!
A HUGE TWO thumbs up for video tutorials!!! Thanks for all you do and can’t wait for next video 🙂
I’m so glad to see that you’re doing videos now. It’s one thing to view a photo of someone, but it’s much more personal viewing someone on video. You are exactly what I imagined you would be liked if I were to meet you. I’m looking forward to seeing your tutorials.
Carol

Lauren,
Fabulous video. You are just to cute. Can’t wait to see the tutorial. Keep up the good work and thanks for taking the time to inspire us in blogland.
The video came out good! Great first effort. I think we’re always our harshest critics. A lot of others before me have said you sounded fine, you looked fine….everything was fine! So just give us videos when you get them together — or don’t…we’ll be happy either way. You have great projects, and with or without sound/moving pictures, we’ll still be here to see your great creations. But…I want to say again….the video was great!!!
Definately THUMBS UP! You are just too cute for color TV, so videos will be a great medium for you. I love your tutorials, so just ger her done! Thanks a bunch, Renee
Great job on your first video, I look forward daily to visiting your blog, can’t wait for your first tutorial!!! Your projects are so beautiful and your blog inspires many.

Hugs from Michigan

Your video is adorable! Don’t worry about your accent, it sounds great compared to my NY accent! Looking forward to your fabulous tutorials!
Lauren,
What a great addition to your blog! I look forward to seeing the videos that you will be producing weekly. I am sure they will be as helpful as everything else you have ever put out there for us!
I give you Kudos for being brave enough to get in front of the camera! I know it isn’t easy, but it really adds a more personal touch for those of us who follow along with your blog and even your life!
Thanks for all you do and keep up the great work!
You are very appreciated!
Kelly 🙂
Well done Girl!!!!!

Lauren,
Wow, great job!!! It will be SO FUN to compare this “first try” (and I put it in quotes b/c I know perfectionist that you are that this is was the 100th try — lol) with what you are producing this time next year. Thanks for sharing with us and allowing us to watch you grow. . .hey, this is NOT easy and we all know that. . .do you see US on camera in the blogasphere??? Looking forward to your first tutorial. Good to finally “meet” you although I’m in the middle of TN!
I am so excited!!! Your blog is soo amazing and for you to add tutorials is the icing on the cake so to speak. You are very inspiring and your work shows alot of time and love for what you do and I am truley grateful for your time and efforts so Thank you! You rock! Keep up the great work!!!

Good job on the video Lauren. I have to admit, I check out your blog everyday, but don’t usually comment. I do love your creations and your style! Can’t wait to see your first video tutorial….I’m sure it will be awesome!
Lauren,
I think it is wonderful that you are doing video’s! I think people like me will learn a lot and am looking forward for all your projects and thoughts!
Have fun with them! I know it is intimidating, But your blog followers are your friends and they only want the best for you!!!
I am a new follower of your blog and I really like it. I’ve booked marked it and get your news letters. Thank you for all the work that you put into in. I know it’s fun to do since it is something that you really enjoy!
Take care!
Hi Lauren. I don’t think I have left a comment before, my bad! But I wanted to let you know that you are one of the BIGGEST inspirations for me! I have downloaded most of the My Timeless Templates and am working on a neat project with All Boxed Up right now.
Your videos you are gonna start making have me so excited! I don’t think you look weird at all on them. It is hard to have a one way convo like you said. But you are doing good for it being your first one! Can’t wait till tonight when you put your first one up!
I honestly have no idea how you come up with the most amazing projects, templates and cards. You go girl!
Andria (prairie mom on scs)
You are too cute!! I just recently found your blog site and it’s one of my favorites! I’m looking forward to your videos and more of your stamping/scrapbooking creations. Definately a “TWO THUMBS UP”! Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
OK, could you be any cuter?? 🙂
Looking forward to more videos!! Thanks for all you do!
My goodness you got so many wonderful comments…you deserve it! Your blog is the FIRST blog I hit every day…EVERY day. You always make me smile, inspire me with your creations and have really great practical advice on how to do it ‘all’ LOL…I am a SAHM mom of two ‘trying’ to stamp, make giffts, clean as well. You have helped me so many times! I LOVE the video…and it is so nice to hear the voice with the face.
A Big THUMBS UP. I give you tons of credit for making a go at the video thing. I did it a few times and your right, it is difficult have a one sided conversation all while looking at all the quirky things you do (and don’t worry we all have something we do – I happen to lick and bit my lip which is very embarrassing).
Truly proud of you – can’t wait for the tutorials.
Annie
Thumbs UP!!! I have enjoyed getting to know you through your blog. Looking forward to the videos!!!
Lauren this is great, I know there won’t be a thumbs down! 2 thumbs up all the way! I guess I’m a blog stalker, I’ve subscribed to your blog for a long while and I read you every morning, and never commented. You are a great inspiration, not just paper crafts, your life also. I say if she can do it, so can I, but you must stay up all night to get all this done! Keep it up, you ROCK.
Melanie
Lauren, so happy to see your video up and running! So looking forward to your tutorials. I know what you mean about how your voice sounds to you. I feel the same way about mine! LOL!!! Anyway, you sound great and you are going to be great! BTW, maybe at some time you can introduce your family to us via video. Wishing you continued success!
A BIG THUMBS UP LAUREN!!! I don’t want it to be perfect…just let your wonderful personality shine through!!Good luck. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
2 Big Thumbs Up Lauren! Thank you so much for putting in the time to figure this out. I can’t imagine having the courage to take on such a project. You inspire me in so many ways! Blessings and Hugs!!
Hi Lauren,
I admire you taking on this fun new task. It was great to see you try something new and I will be tuning in each week. I bet you felt like you were recording your first voice mail, I hate that! I also love how you did your blog and the way each comment looks so pretty.
I am glad to see you finally figured it out. I really admire you for putting yourself out there like that and you plan on making 1 video a week now. I just made my third technique video this week and I know how much work they are so I am only planning on making 1 video a month right now but each time you make them they do get easier. I have a few suggestions for you that might make them easier to make in the future. If you would like to know what they are feel free to email me. I look forward to seeing your next one.
WoW Lauren…..Great job. I will be watching. Cant wait to see all the great things your going to show us. Hey, you should even let the kids say hi every now and then….I feel like I know them too. (not a stalker….just a faithful blog follower) LOL. All kidding aside, Looking forward to Mondays with Mytime !!!
JoAnn
Hi Lauren,
I check your blog everyday and I’m excited that you’ll be doing videos now too! Your creativity always amazes me!
Thumbs up! How great is it to hear your voice! It’s funny, but when I read blogs, I get into my head what I think the person sounds like as I read what they write! Now I have an actual voice to put with the words!
I am looking forward to seeing all that you do with the videos. Everything else that I have seen (your blog, your Timeless Templates) have been fantastic!
Thank you for sharing and I look forward to see the tutorials!
Thumbs up! Your blog is terrific already and the videos will add so much more. It’s nice to see and hear the person (that’s You) behind all the creative and inspiring projects. Also, kudos to you for putting yourself out there – wonderful first video.
Lauren, I give you a thumbs up!! This is going to be so to see you doing your fabulous work and watching how to accomplish it. Thank you.
You done good, Girl!
I’m looking forward to seeing all your wonderful tidbits and to, of course, learning along the way.
You’ve inspired me in so much and have taught me that expanding ‘outside of the box’ (literally-lol) can be fun.
Bonne chance, ma belle!
Heather (Montreal)
Thumbs up girlfriend!
TWO THUMBS UP!!! If I had more thumbs I would have raised more 🙂
You are cuter in person, well, video in person than I imagined.
I can see where your creativity and personality mesh together and are one!
Thank YOU for the inspiration and tutorial videos coming our way.
Bad hair day?? What are you talking about?! Nah..you look lovely.
Be blessed..Veronica
When I read you were going to try video I got so excited!! I have been coming to your blog for probably a year. You are definitely an inspiration to me love love love your work. I give a big thumbs up from Prince Edward Island! You did a great job for your first. Look forward to your video tuturiols…../kwernerdesign.com/blog/ Kristina seems to know her way around making video tuturiols you might want to look her up she would probably help you out.
Lauren! You are so AMAZING to do this! You look beautiful! I’m so impressed with your talent and you’re ability to share so openly! You are truly a SuperWoman!!! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us all!
Hugs and Blessings
Alicia AKA militarystampingmom
Well how flippin’ cute are you?!!! hehe! Can’t wait for the first tutorial!! You done yet 😉
Lauren, You did a great job on your first video. I can’t image how you felt video-ing yourself, plus talking to yourself. That would feel weird. I liked the idea that you laughed and were yourself, please don’t get too professional in your video’s. K
Again Great Job!!! = )
I think you did a great job! Looking forward to your tutorials, I love reading your blog and I do it daily! You are so very talented!
Hi Lauren,
You did a great job!
I am soooooo! happy that you are going to start making
videos. It is so much easier to see something than following printed instructions. Can’t wait for the first
tutorial!
Great job! We are so excited to have video tutorials of your now! You ROCK sister! Thanks so much!!! Can’t wait for the first one…it will be our “date” night…LOL! 🙂 lisa k in tx
Lauren,
Wonderful job!!! You have a nice voice. Will be nice to see and hear you do a tutorial…..
Advice: just be yourself, have fun and don’t worry, life’s too short!!!
I think your video was great and thank you for posting it! It’s so nice to be able to get to know someone a little more, especially when you admire their work as much as I do yours! Reading what you write is great but seeing you live and unscripted is even better. Just relax, be yourself and you will be a big hit (you already are!).
Great job, Lauren! Can’t wait to see more! You’re doing fine, no problem here! Hugs, Monica
I think you did a good job on this one, can’t wait to see you work, that is always interesting to me to watch someone create and maybe learn an easier way then how I do things. I can imagine it is nerve wracking thing to do but I think it is great you are giving it a try, I know it is going to take more of your time so try not to get to overwhelmed, you can always do it every other week to make it easier on yourself. Good luck and looking forward to it!
You did a GRAND job!! Well done ! I would LOVE to see some video tutorials of you using your templates – yes, they are easy enough to work out, but I am a very visual person and a video would be such a help. i also look at the stuff you create with your templates, and seriously think I wouldn’t get such fab results puzzling it on my own. HTH!!! LOVE YOUR WORK !!!
CONGRATULATIONS Lauren! So thrilled that you could finally get your xmas present to work! WOOHOO! A big two thumbs up to you girl!
Great job! I would love to see how you organize your supplies…it’s an on-going challenge for me. I feel I’ve wasted money on things that don’t work well. With your creativity, I’m sure you have some great ideas! Thanks!!
Lauren,
I am thrilled that you added this to your blog. I love all your work and would love to see how you actually create it, especially your timeless templates. You video was fine and you look great!!!
Great job – you rock!
congrats to you girl ! amazing job — can’t wait to see your first tutorial!!!
Great job Lauren, you are even sweeter on video than I imagined, and I can’t wait to see more. Everything you do is an inspiration, thanks in advance, I know I am going to be visiting even more often now.
Wow, so excited to have you in person for the tutorials, I am kinda visual gal… so this will be so so helpful, I love to take inspiration from your artwork! Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us! Love and hugs always!
I love it, so two thumbs up. Can´t wait for the first tutorial.
Lauren, you are just so sweet and I can totally understand how you felt making this, but I assure you that you did great and you’ll feel more comfortable with it as you continue. We all love you and are super excited about this next phase of your blog! definitely a thumbs up, and thanks for all you do!
Hi Lauren,
Hurray! You did it! I love the video idea. It provides an opportunity to connect on a different level. While we can get an idea of your personality from your writing, the video puts you out there – and we can see you, hear you, and get an idea of who you are. It is so much more personal. Thanks for sharing yourself with us.
Lauren, 2 thumbs up!! Your so cute, and you did an awesome job. I’m anxiously waiting for the first tutorial.
Can’t wait to see the upcoming videos! Thank you for doing this!
Personally, I’d really like to see tutorials with your templates!
Thanks for sharing your projects, suggestions, and talent with your readers! 🙂
I love the idea of video. Would you ever think about doing some tutorials with your templates? I personally would love for you to do a tutorial with your prayer/praise journal. I am wanting to make several of them and am having a little trouble–I will just improvise. But I think it would be a great way to market your templates and show us the different ideas.
Love them! Love your Blog and now Love the Video!!!
Thumbs up Lauren! Love your fabulous work, constantly visit your blog and am as always very impressed. You go girl and I look forward to future posts. You rock! I wanna be just like you when I grow up!!!!! From the land down under!
I am so excited about your tutorials! I love your blog and can’t wait to see them! Have anything valentiny to share?
You did it:) Good for you and congrats on taking the first step in yet another facet of your blogging. I enjoyed hearing your voice after all this time following your blog and enjoying every minute of it. I just LOVE everything that you create and you are a true inspiration for me not just b/c of your creativity but also b/c of the way you approach life. You are a blessing to all whose lives you touch.
Laura,
Love the video! I can not wait for Mondays now! lol. Even my son loved the video that he started getting mad and started crying when the video stopped!
Definitely two thumbs up!
charna
Great Job, Lauren. Love your templates. Keep up the
good work.
FANTASTIC !!!! You go girl ! Thumbs up ! WAY UP !!!
We are so lucky to have you !
Looking forward to ALL your videos, tutorials, cards, templates etc……you are such a gift to the stamping, craft world!
FABULOSO!!!! A big thumbs up for you, Lauren! This is going to be GREAT FUN!!! 😀
Hi Lauren! I absolutley love and appreciate your video! I love checking out your website for beautiful cards and great projects! I do have a question for you! I currently own only SU stamps but I love some of the ones from Papertrey…I’ve noticed with some of my store bought acrylic stamps the ink comes out blotchy, almost spotty looking. Any idea why that happens? I’m using only SU ink pads. Would that happen to the Papertrey stamps too? That is my biggest reservation about purchasing their stamps. I hope you can help me out so my acrylic stamp sets will work better! Thanks for your help! Love the blog…Kim S.
Yaaayyyy!!!
I love that you are doing the video tutorial, I am such the visual learner. You really made me laugh with the video, dont think about it too much your personality is awesome it shines through on your blogs so it will shine through on you blogs. I cant wait to see you get to work…
Thumbs way up!!!!
A big thumbs UP! You are inspiring to us all! So looking forward to the tutorials. Thanks for braving the video world and sharing with us. You rock!
I’m happy for you…and this is so exciting; to get to see you create; recorded live!!! You will do fine…Thanks!!!
Well, I hope you were serious about the 200 comments hehehe.
I also wanted to ask you something, are you Italian? I only ask because you were talking about using your hands, etc. My husband is Italian and him and I and others like to talk with out hands as well.
I am leaving an all encompassing comment. ALL the projects you have done and shared with us are WONDERFUL!!! I don’t think there was a single one that I didn’t like. You really are an inspiration to me and I hope that I can do this “hobby” justice as you do. Love your craft area by the way. You are lucky, I use a portion of the laundry room that is also shared with the family office, ugh!!!
Keep up the good work.
Wow this is so stinkin COOL. Super fun to really get to “Meet” you and hear your voice etc. The comment above me is funny since I live in Italy and completely fit in with the speaking with my hands thing. I should make one of these videos with my crazy hands. LOL
Thank you so much for this fun new addition.
Hugs,
I just think it’s great to finally put a sound to that voice that comes through so clearly on your blog. I love visiting your blog because you are so genuine and relaxed. You put so much of yourself into your blog. You are also soooo talented. And how do you possibly find the time to do everything? Please share with everyone how you stay so organized. And don’t worry about being professional with your videos. Just be yourself. Great job!
I realy l-o-v-e evrything that yoy do. god bless your hands…
I start scrabook so it will be great for me if you learn how to do the basics tings like how to put a ribbon on cards and thing like that.
thank you
Don’t be so hard on yourself. It was fine. Two small suggestions, work on the lighting and watch the umm thing. It will probably go away when you aren’t scrambling trying to remember what you want to say!! Nervousness causes it too and that will also be better once you are ‘in your element’ and actually stamping. Great job and I definitely look forward to more!! Tutorials are my fav and video ones are even better.
Thumbs up. Great job, so glad you got it figured out. Am looking forward to your first tutorial. I am a visuall person so know this will be a great help.
I loved your new video! I am excited to see you again! What is the Papertrey Ink Newsletter? Do you sign up for it on the Papertrey site? I will head over there next to check that out.
I love our “visits” everyday and now I can see you talk. I hope you don’t find it too much work and keep it up.
Two snaps up (snap, snap)! Love it. Keep it coming.
Just got back from the Papertrey Ink blog and I have already signed up for Newletter so I look forward to seeing you on it!! {hugs}
WTG!!! I couldn’t see this at work earlier, so I just got to see it now. Love it – like I’m visiting with you 🙂 I give you a LOT of credit for putting yourself ‘out there’ for everyone – it’s a big deal – and you handled it perfectly 🙂
Looking forward to more 🙂 chat soon!
Yeah!! I will watch all your videos. Great job!! I think your creativity is very inspiring!! Keep up the good work and we’ll keep watching.!!
Hi Lauren,
Now I can put a voice to that pretty face. You know I am your biggest fan. You were wonderful even though you might not think so. Looking forward to all of your videos. Not to worry. You are totally among friends and admirers.
Just keep those videos and ideas coming.
Ann
Hi Lauren,
You did a great job. I’m looking forward to you videos. I love your creations.
Thanks,
Lori
Great job, Lauren! I can’t wait to see what great things you’ll be able to show us step by step in your video tutorials. It will make your blog even more fabulous!
Sarah
Lauren, great job!! So glad you figured out the video and happy you are taking time to do video tutorials! I’m sure it will be very time-consuming. I’ve watched several others on YouTube for tutorials, and it’s really helped me learn how to use tools & new techniques. Since I don’t live close to anyone who has classes, this has been a lifesaver for me. So can’t wait to start seeing your videos. I’m interested in watching any explanations on tools, products, everything!!
I LOVE actually seeing you talk because I’ve followed your blog for quite awhile and love what you do. You did a wonderful job on your first one – I’ll definitely be looking forward to more. Thanks so much for ALL you do!
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I am so excited for you…and us! I give you two thumbs UP. Looking forward to Mondays!
For sure a thumb’s up! i teach 1st grade and every once in a while someone wants to video tape me teaching, and it is so unnerving to see myself! i always feel like sheesh that is what i look like and sound like and yet my kids (students) seem to like me!! LOL
Can’t wait to see what you will do next!!
Thumbs up Lauren!!!! You did a wonderful job!! I know I couldn’t do something like that! Sometimes the best way to learn new things is to just jump in and play around with it! I know when I hear myself on the phone answering machine I also think, that’s not how I think I sound!! Keep up the good work, Looking forward to more!!
I love it! you have more guts than me girl! I say thumbs up and cant wait for some tutorials. dont kill yourself, check out kristina werners blog for some inspiration but I know that you can do it much better than her! You can just put the tutorial to music so that you dont have talk the whole way through if you dont want. just an idea. lots of love Alyssa
Definite thumbs up! I think you did a wonderful job and we are our harshest critics. I look forward to your tutorials and anything else that you share.
Lauren, You have such talent. Thank you for sharing this talent in so many ways. You are really an inspiration to many. Thumbs up to you and keep up the great work.
You have a beautiful voice! Thanks for all that you share with us, I’m looking forward to learning from you!
Melissa
Great job with the video!!!! I can’t wait to watch you — bet in no time you have a tv show!
You got my thumbs up on the video. Nice job and hope to see more videos.
How exciting to “see” you!! I always look SO forward to checking your blog to see what awesome stuff you’ve come up with and see how your family is doing.
You are so inspirational to me, Lauren! Keep up the good work! I know what you mean about being nervous in front of the camera. I am a teacher and someone asked if they could come in and videotape me teaching a lesson. I’m still on the fence about that one.
Yeah, so exciting to “see” you today. I just love your projects and I’m so excited for the video tutorials. Way to go!
This is so neat. Now we have a personality to put to your picture. You can learn so much about a person when you see and hear them on a video. Sometimes, I think of you as being so perfect because you seem to be able to do it all and then I read this post and laughed because “that is my house”. I always have my two boys upstairs fighting with each other. I try and stay off the phone until after they go to bed because I can’t yell at them when I’m talking to someone. You are just as normal as I am and your house is just as crazy as mine. I still don’t know how you do it all but you sure do a great job.
Way to go girlfriend. You look great for middle of the night. I’d be yawning through the whole thing. Ok, first request; your copics, coloring & blending. I’ll figure out how to sub the copic with prismacolor (I’m in love with mine thanks!) and I’m getting much better with them too. Second request; candle stamping again. I can see the picture tutorial but for some reason just can’t picture it & get it right. Need to see the process in action to get it I guess.
I will tell you that my son, thinks we could be bff’s, because you act like me! lol
I also must say, you looked very nervous, and I LOVED that, you were real, yourself and I could not ask for a better welcome. I hate fake people who are acting like someone they are not, and you were just like you are in your written blog posts, and for that I am thankfull….
I told myself I would keep this quick because you have a lot to read…
Show us your organization, your room…That is always fun to get ideas from a real room…any cool way to organize would be great.
Your welcome was awsome keep up the good work! God Bless!
Thumbs up!! How nice to put a voice with your face, it’s not Fran Dreschner at all, valley girl maybe. LOL I am so looking forward to seeing and hearing you do the tutorials as I have always felt you do such an awesome job as a stamper, creater, mom and wife with all you have going in your life, I’m tired! Just Kidding! I love this new venue and you did wonderful for a first time and if I know you, you’ll only get better!
Definitely thumbs up! Your talking is just like your writing, so in a way I feel that I’ve already heard you. Thanks so much for keepin’ it real…that’s what I admire most about you! Can’t wait for your tutorials!
Great first video Lauren! Can’t wait to see your first tutorial.
Keep up the good work.
Julie
Thumbs Up Lauren!!! I’m looking forward to your future videos. And, your voice thankfully doesn’t sound like Fran Dreshcer at all! If it did, then the tutorials would be a problem ha,ha,ha.
Hi Lauren,
I think you did a wonderful job! I really look forward to watching your tutorials.
So from here in MD….it a Thumbs Up!
Hugs,
Marge
I wanted you to know I love your blog. I get plenty of inspiration from you. I check it almost everyday. Have you thought about advertising on your site. I’m sure you get the traffic for it.
Lauren… You’re a natural!!! You look great on video and have a wonderful voice quality. I think you’re the next papercrafting STAR!
Don’t be so hard on yourself! Your video is great, it is the first one and they will improve as you go along, just like everything we do. I love coming to your blog to learn new things, thanks for all the time you put into this for all of us our here in cyber space, your ‘pretend friends’!!
Wow I’m sure that was really difficult to get started and just do a chat without making anything but I think that’s a really nice way to get started, sort of a video introduction of yourself. It’s wonderful to get to see you talk and see who you really are, not who we think you are! I think at the beginning of this video you were nervous but as it went on, you became more yourself and more comfortable. I always thought you’d be a more ‘talk with your hands’ person and that started coming in more towards the end of the video I think, and ya, I think you should just be yourself and not try to rein in your natural gestures.
I’m really looking forward to seeing more videos and I’d love to see you do a specific project from beginning to end .. maybe a card or treat box – it will be nice to see you making what you’ve been showing us as the end product! I’m really excited to see more now. I think a weekly video would be fabulous!
Thumbs up and you’re WAY too hard on yourself! You were brave enough to actually do this, so kudos to you. And your voice is quite nice.
congratulations. I have been stalking you for ages but I don’t think Ihave ever posted a comment before. I love all of your creations, I laugh and cry with your family stories. You are a joy in this world.
Kathleen, Australia

Hi Lauren, That was fantastic – I imagine that you are being just yourself – brilliant. Here in Northern Ireland we just don’t have crafters of your caliber and this opens a whole new door to us – thank-you! I am sooo looking forward to Monday’s with Mytime.
hugs and well done!

What a fun house! You are amazing! I truly appreciate your video…there are times that it really helps to see “how” a step is done. It is fun to see your working area and how you use your tools. We all learn from you. Again, you have done a great job and I look forward to more videos. I have one question, is there a link to the videos or an area listed on your Home Page that will help us find all of your tutorials as they are developed. Thanks!
can’t wait!
Ah! Great video! I can imagine feeling “out there” but know that we’re all cheering for you…at our homes! So love your blog and how you are so transparent…and so talented! You amaze me! Thanks again…and looking forward to your very first video, which will be awesome!
