Sorry this post is a bit late. Since my brother & his girlfriend moved in and cat drama, settling in has been a challenge, as has finding stamp time! I am running them around to a million appointments, getting them settled and finding doctors and whatnot, and trying to clean around lots of luggage until the spare room is complete. Crazy is not the word!
In the meantime, the kitty drama continues. Thank you all for the well wishes. Its nice to know Im not alone. We are still monitoring him, and he seems to be better since on the medicine. Im hopeful. Still nervous and upset, but time will tell.
My time was SUPER limited and I forgot I needed a quick gift for a family friend. I LOVE the Hot Cocoa from Archer Farms (Target product) and always keep some on hand for those “just in case” I need a quick gift. Good thing, because I had SERIOUSLY less than 10 minutes to make my gift, since I forgot till I was ready to walk out the door (don’t you love that!). That 10 minutes was me being late, but I got it done! Time to make another “to do” list! YIKES!
Anyway-I used my Pretty Papers from Lizzie Anne, in Winter Wonderland to literally just WRAP the jar! They were PERFECT for this project.
I had just got some more stamps fromJustRite Stampers, and one fo them was for the PERFECT holiday gift giving set, that totally saved me for this!
Its the Baking Stamp ensemble. I really liked the larger images this set offered, as it makes a nice & quick topper for a gift. I put my border stamp on the round block first, and inked it up in ruby red ink. I then put in my center image circle image, and colored it in with markers- bordering blue, and choc. chip. Then stamped it onto my vanilla cardstock. Die cut the circle, and popped it on with a dimensional. DONE!
While it was a super quick gift, I still think it was a cute way to present it. Had I more time I would have stamped some snowmen or something, but that so is not in the cards for me, at least not this week! Im happy I got 2 decent photos before I ran out the door. Usually when I try that its all blurry and out of focus.
Once I settle in things should get back to normal-right?!
In the meantime don’t miss this post! Its a great way to help raise money for Cancer research!!!
OK more to do-so Im running.

Lauren,
Please, define normal for me! Still haven’t found it after all these years! Love your idea. Must try the cocoa mix. I love the dollar spot at Target! Thanks for all the neat ideas you share with us!
Lauren, this is the first post I have received in quite awhile. I thought you stopped blogging or cut your list or something. I have been having issues with getting the blog notices for a week now. Glad you are back and love the can idea.
Pretty paper from Lizzie’s 🙂 And I think that’s a new watermark you have on your post? Soooo perfect for you Lauren!!!
Sorry you haven’t had time to stamp as much as you’d like, but I think you did a great job on a quick gift! When in a time pinch, it’s great to let the designer papers do the work for us!
