This is my 3rd post for today-so scroll down! Oh and don’t miss the Sat sketch OK!!
Birthday Girl
This card was made for Amber’s friend. We are going to her party next weekend. She looks just like this little girl, I swear.
Well if you haven’t seen yet, my dear friend Jen Ofiana has come out with her very own line (I know crazy!) called Stampin Spot. HUGE Congrats to Jen!! She is also having a giveaway –> here! That is an amazing accomplishment. I can only imagine how weird it would be to see your drawings made into stamps, then used by others!
This little girl is named Sadie. This month you can choose from 3 different Sadie singles. I think each one is super cute, but the birthday is my favorite 😀 She will be released on the 7th.
Of course seeing the heart on her shirt made me think pink, red and black. I love that combo of V-day stuff, so figured why not? I think she also looks like a cheerleader (yeah!).
So I used the Big Ol’hearts bkgd stamp colored direct to stamp with red and pink markers for my patterned piece. It was a match made in heaven!
OK I need to run. We have company coming over, and I have things to whip together before they get here. Guess I will NOT be stamping on WCMD :C Oh well. There is always tomorrow. I was already “informed” that football is on in the afternoon-BLECH.
Well I am back from Amber’s party and we had so much fun! The girls looked beautiful after getting all done up. I’ll report more on that in a separate post soon. Im truly exhausted. Its amazing how much a little party can take out of you!
More Christmas cards to share today. Seems so crazy that I started making this stuff in AUGUST! Now its getting colder out, so I’m not minding the holiday stuff so much.
I want to share a card that was on the WCMD weebite, in representation of Lizzie Anne Designs.
Christmas in the city
It uses a set called Holiday lane (on sale today only). I create a little “city” of houses with that set, and just fell in love with it. They houses are just so cute. I paired it with some Basic Grey paper (which I found Papertrey Inks Aqua mist to be a great Holiday color too). I did some sponging and added some snow with a singlo white gel pen. Perfect snowy city
Now for another-
You can see the step by step directions and photos for this card shown below—> HERE
Now the ALL the stamps used on the Santa’s workshop cards, are 20% off TODAY ONLY!!
The Fall Release is also now available–>Here!
That is it for now. Another post to write! This is 2 of the 3 for today, so scroll on down.
Well today is World Card Making Day. YEAH! I love an stamping “holiday”.
Unfortunately, I will not be celebrating by stamping, but I will be celebrating in another way. I am going to be having a blast at Amber’s birthday party today 😀 So Im off and running.
So my time here in blog land is very short. I will return with more to post (sneak peek stuff), but figured I better get to posting the sketch for those of you who wait for it 😀
This week’s keyword is mytimess08
This should be a fun one. I wish I had more time to play and do another, but I have a busy week here. I think flipping it would be cool too.
So, that being said here is my take on the sketch-
Peace
It does say peace to me. Very calm looking, yet a little elegant.
I made this in pink’s (sweet blush, and regal rose, with a touch of olive) because of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Someone we know has a recent diagnosis, and this will be getting sent her way.
I used the In the Meadow set by Lizzie Anne Designs. Their Fall Release is today as well.
I colored my flowers, direct to stamp, with markers. My white layer is 1 X 3 1/2. Olive Layer is 1 1/4 X 3 3/4, if you are looking for an easy layout for the typical A2 size card.
I ran my gold maker quickly along the edges for a touch if gold in my border. I think it looks really pretty. Subtle and soft.
OK I need to run. Busy day, but I’ll be back later 😀
I can’t wait to see what you all do with the sketch this week!
Make sure you check out the team-
Later!
