Well I am SO late in posting. Sorry. I got some new stamps, and got caught up in creating yesterday. Totally NOT a bad thing!

Alexa had her Post-Cancer follow up today. That is why I am late. WOW! We were in & out of there in 15 minutes! It took longer to drive. It is becoming more & more real that this chapter is “over”. I get scared just saying it outloud. I have to have FAITH. That can be a hard thing to have sometimes. Especially when things aren’t going your way. Granted things are going so well, but  I have to continue to remind myself have faith that she will remain Cancer Free! I can’t tell you how extremely blessed I feel about that. I remember the day she got diagnosed like it was yesterday. It is as memorable as her birth. That day will never leave me. Nor will the last day of treatment.

I feel like a tornado just ripped through my house, and we are all still standing there in the middle, unharmed and in one piece. I know that may not make sense, but it is the ONLY way I can describe this feeling. Being at her first Post Cancer follow up really impacted me today. So much has happened since then. While we aren’t “un-touched” by the tornado, we are left standing, in one place, as thankful and stronger than ever. Forever changed by the experience, forever grateful we made it through the storm.

If we don’t weather the storm sometimes, how can we ever appreciate the rainbow?

I am reminded to be thankful for what I have, everyday. To go forward, and when things change, step forward in faith.

You may not believe this but I never intended on most of my “deep” reflective posts to ever go there. I often think of deleting them, but then say “No this is what I was/am thinking” so I leave it be.

Now the reason  came to post! LOL!

I am sure MOST of you out there have heard of Magnolia Stamps before-right?

Well if you haven’t then hold onto your wallets! Im about to share some news!

These are just the CUTEST images ever. If you LOVE to color, you will be in heaven. Since getting all the Copic Markers I LOVE coloring 😀 so these are just perfect.

The FIRST time I ever saw Magnolia stamps was onKimmie’s Blog. I love her work, and it is her stuff that made me fall in LOVE with them. I would always DROOL over her creations, but never ordered since they are a Sweden based company (and I am impatient).

If you are over 30, then you may know what I am talking about when I say these images remind me of Holly Hobby!!! I loved her, and seeing these takes me back to those happy childhood memories.

Well many of you know that I work with Scor-Pal. Diana asked me what I thought about her carrying Magnolia images. Well, I flipped! I told her when she got them in I wanted to order every single one! And I did!

many-magnolia.jpg All my new Magnolia stamps!

This should show you just how many images Diana is going to be carrying. I put them all on my mini Clip it up!PS I don’t know who else has one. I have heard some negative things about it, but I dont know why! Im in LOVE with mine! I got the mini and its really big! You can bet your bottom dollar that I ma so getting the larger one!!! If you have a lot of UN stamps this ROCKS!!!!

So here are the details from Diana

The MAGNOLIA-licious web site will not be online for several weeks but
we have inventory and are sending out product now. People can contact me
at
[email protected]. I will send them a catalog persay of all the
images we have. They copy and paste into a new document what stamps they
would like and send this to me. I then call them and we complete their
order. The Tilda and Edwin images are $12.00 and the others range from
$9.00 to $14.50 for the very large stamps like the “swing”. The stamps
are mailed from Blaine, WA for US customers and Surrey, Canada for
Canadian Customers. The prices are at par.”

Note: PLEASE dont ask me to help you decide on any! As you can see I had NO will power to decide for myself, and got them all! LOL!

Now I will give you what you really came here for! (I think! LOL!)

magnolia-making-me-smile.jpg Thanks for making me smile

This is my favorite of the trio. Maybe because its SIMPLE?

I so LOVED this little girl. She was the first one I inked up. I thought she was just the cutest thing. I had some paper, that reminded me of her skirt pattern, so the colors in that inspired her skirt.

This is a clean and simple layout. A great start for me, who is sometimes intimidated by others ROCKIN coloring abilities.

The focus stays on the girl, and the little details don’t take away from her. The sentiment is by Stampin Up!

magnolia-life-imagined.jpg Live Life

How adorable is she? Oh and the BIRDS!! Love them!!!!

I wanted to use her, and I fell in LOVE with the fence image (no they are ot one stamp!). So I stamped the girl, then masked her, and stamped the fence. I am no “scene” maker but was quite proud of this one.

I cut her out with my nestabilties, and like always use the metal frame as a “mask” to sponge on my color. Too bad you cant see her glittery angel wings.

I swear I could live by this sentiment alone. This is from the revised Out On a Limb Sentiments

Now when coloring images, I like to choose my paper first. This is an older collection from Chatterbox. It is easier for me to color to match a paper, than to match a paper to my coloring. All my images are colored with my Copic markers.

Now this is a SIMPLE one

Magnolia has a plethora of non people images. I figured it would be fun to use JUST them.

I fell in love with the Tulips! They are my favorite flower. Then again, the birds. Kept it simple. Sentiment was PERFECT!! It is from the Birds of a Feather set.

I do have another CUTE card, but it will wait for my Saturday Sketch!!!

Come back tomorrow-I have more to share. Can you say Unity? YEAH!!!

Then I will have to show my All about the Bling class samples sometime this weekend. Blog candy here Friday!!

See you later! And thanks for always checking in. I appreciate those who have and haven’t been getting email updates for the heads up!!

I am emotionally drained and need to go chill out.
