    Oh! That is one darling little owl!
    I said “Toot” was the first thing that came to mind.

    Your name does fit well - Hooty. Here are some others I can up with: Hoover, Whoton, and Ollie — problem is they all sound like boys names - not unisex!! I do like Owlive for a girl! Olive was my Grandmother’s name! Thanks for the chance to win!

    How about the name “Owl”. It is a fun looking owl that reminds me of the “Owl” in the Winnie the Pooh books.
    Owl is a good friend of Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, and all the other inhabitants of the Forest. He is always happy to offer his opinions, advice, and anecdotes - whether or not they are actually wanted. Owl also enjoys telling stories about his relatives, including his aunt who laid a seagull’s egg by mistake and his Uncle Robert who once survived a very blusterous day.
    The other name I like is “Hoot”.

    This name has nothing to do with owls, except that it is my husbands name and he loves owls—Earl (as in the show “What about Earl”). It is such a grown up name for such a little fellow… which is what my husband says everyone used to say about him.

    Hooty is pretty cute, but I really liked Debi H and Owlie Oop–oh, to be so clever! The dorky one I first thought up was Palie Owlie–now see why Owlie Oop is so much better!? Oh, well, fun “contest.” Rae C.

    My son’s name is Alan. When he was young we called him Hoot Al sometimes. I think a good name for the owl would be “Alley Hoot”.

    Toughie, I came up with the above names also. Then, I laughed - “Hoot Gibson” for no reason. He was a cowboy star or something like that I think. But it could be unisex in the fact it could be a Gibson Girl! Or how about Winken since somone else suggested Blinken? A family of owls - Winken, Blinken, and Nod? I think I am a bit tired! Whatever you name it, I am sure it will be cute. Can’t wait to see what you make with the stamp.

    I vote Sam! Lol - I don’t know why. I saw him/her and thought of Sam Eagle from the Muppets. He’s a boy…but Sam could be a boy or girls name!
