WOW! I just have to say what a beautiful bunch of people stamper’s really are! So many of you, I have had the opportunity to form friendships with and share funny little comments and emails. People I never would have NOT met (and met) had it not been for this insanely addicting “hobby”. The last few days you all have left some of the most amazingly sweet comments. Thank you so much. Words really can’t say what that all means to me.
Speaking of meaning. When I wrote the post about the bella card, linked below, I ALMOST didn’t publish it. It was so sappy to me, and when I was typing my husband asked me if someone died, cause I was balling over it. I know it sounds stupid. I am NOT a crier!! I just think my mom should know that she DID do a good job. I think we will all have regrets as parent’s. Things we learned from. Anyway-I was in a sappy mood, and decided-like always, this is me, and this is what I was thinking/feeling at the time. So here you go WORLD! LOL!
When Emily wrote her comment about my Super Woman Bella card for my mom I was so touched!
Sorry I HAVE to quote her 😀

as usual, you have ‘represented’… you have taken my “bella mantra” and brought it to life… no matter what you look like, no matter how you ‘feel’, you are represented by a Bella.. and that is exactly why I started this little company.
Thank YOU for putting my thoughts and feelings onto paper.
You are one awesome person
Em

She then followed it up with a blog post about it! WOW!! You can see that here<——–Thanks Em. MWAH to you!!
She said many of you told her to come find me here-thank you!! How sweet.
Many people requested a list of the Bella’s I used and wanted to know how many I owned. Given that fact that my husband and his entire work staff read this, I have to say modestly I own somewhere over 50. I know! I know! It’s an obsession. It started with Javabellas and went on from there. I stopped counting.
Here is a list of what was used, in order they are listed on her website. I listed the # in which they appear on the card as well next to the names! It list is top to bottom, starting left to right.
12) Artistbella (paint pallete)
10) Cakeabella
6) Docabella
4) Grumpabella
3) Minivanabella
5) Ohsoprettybella
14) Superbella
13) Sweetybella
8) teachabella
2) teddybella
9) veggiebella (basket of veggies)
1) Hitchedafella ( fella and his bella category)
11) Fixafella (fellas category)
Im happy that my feelings were conveyed through the computer, and inspired many of you to reach out to your special person, share a memory or think of them.
Anyway-I agree I will have to give her that one for Mother’s Day instead! LOL!!!
This will be her LATE birthday card! (Maybe) You know how indecisive I can be.
Another new love for me is that Chichiboule line!
I decided that Eloise Greengrass would be so pretty! I love her and I think she is holding my favorite flower-Tulips! If its not a tulip I dont care! LOL! It is to me. I think she is just so beautiful. This was a simple card, that I tried to keep the focus on HER!! I had to cut her going OUT of the circle. There is a small view of a scallop behind the circle layer. She is very shimmery and just so sweet. I loved coloring her, and went with the dress being leaves instead of flower petals. The gathered sheer pink ribbon is so feminine. That paper is by imaginesce. I used the embossing folder and ink for the bkgd strip.
Simple.
Well thanks for looking everyone.
I have a simple tutorial to share tomorrow! Alexa’s chemo went well yesterday. Thank goodness. ONE MORE LEFT! I know its getting annoying that I keep saying that, but after 2 1/2 years of watching her go through so much, many times I was scared of what may be in store for her, we are almost done!! You have no idea.
There is an article on her stamp set in the June Issue of Crafts n’ Things! More on that when I get my copy! So I’ll fill you in when I can. Thank you to those who emailed me about it 😀 You can read her story at the top of my blog. She has her own page.
Hope you check in later everyone-and thank you again.
Lauren

Your daughter is always in my prayers, I hope she will beat the leukiema. I should say I know she will. After 2 1/2 years that has to say something. I love the card you made. And was wondering if you used a nestability with Eloise Greengrass. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us tomorrow. Still haven’t found the magazine I checked 3 Michael’s and I think I will have to check Barnes & Nobel for it. They always have a good selection of magazines.
Hi Lauren,
I’ll keep your little girl in my prayers also. My mom has had cancer twice already.
I almost lost her when i was 9 and she was 26. She is so young. The cancer came back this last year. And she took the chemo. She is doing better now. I’m so grateful to have her.
Anyway I wanted to tell you I check your blog EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!
i just love your style.
Thanks for posting so often
and shering so much.
Rosy
Hi Lauren,
So, it’s 2:40 a.m. and here I am….having a very sleepless night. What else is a girl to do????
I have a technique question about this card (which is just adorable btw)…..How did you cut out the circle? Did you use part of a nestie (is that possible?) I can’t figure out how you have such a perfect circle on the top half, but part of the stamped image is cut out on the bottom.
God bless your little girl. I hate that kids have to get sick…..but it seems like she’s a fighter!
Elyse
That was one special card so it doesn’t surprise me in the least that Em was impressed with it too! You have a special gift Lauren…with words, your works of art, your feelings and I’m sure you have many other gifts. At least you share the ones you can with us! It is a pleasure to stop by and visit your blog everyday! Your little fairy is precious!
Oh Lauren, don’t ever feel bad about being sappy over your Mom, we’re allowed to do that! I tell everyone, appreciate your Mom while you can, Love her with all of your heart, and tell her so every day. She won’t always be here, and while you still have her, take every chance that you have to enjoy and appreciate her. I miss my Mom every day of my life, I lost her way too young. Thanks for helping me to think of her. God Bless You and be with Alexa each step of the way!
Hugs for a wonderful Day, and thanks for the Inspiration…you’re an awesome example to many!
Marge
Glad to hear the chemo went well. We will continue to lift you all up in prayer. Sounds like you’ve got it bad for the bellas like I do.. Keep up the FABULOUS work.
Michelle
Oh My Word! That image is beautiful. And I think that is a tulip as well! My fav flower and my middle daughters flower. Off to check out these images!
You really did ROCK that Bella card yesterday! I even showed my husband and he was VERY impressed and asked if I was going to do something like that….lol…ummmm no….unless he buys me MORE Bellas 🙂 hehe!
I’m glad that Alexa made out okay yesterday…finally ONE more to go! Wow…it’s been quite the journey and it’s nice that it is coming to an end for her. I’ll be looking for the magazine when it comes out!
Your card is really pretty! I really like how you outlined it and added the glitter…so pretty!!!
Have a fab day!
Great cards Lauren. Love the Bella card from yesterday and this one is so cute too – love the bright colors. I saw the article in CnT – awesome. It’s so much fun to read through a mag and think “I know her” (kind of!!!) Thanks for all your inspiration! Have a good day!
YIPEEEE!!! *jumping for joy* she only has 1 MORE TREATMENT!!!! and I will be sure she gets her chocolate covered strawberries 😉
Another beautiful creation! I’m SO stuck…too many great things out there, and just not enough $$ to get them all…I’ve been thinking that eating is overrated…maybe the family would be willing to give up dinner for a few weeks? I could stand to lose a few pounds anyway…probably not, huh? oh well, I’ll keep thinking.
Looking forward to reading the article in CnT 🙂 Chat soon!
Gorgeous card, Lauren. I am loving the Chichiboulies, too. They’re so sweet. Yeah for Alexa! I know the feeling of relief you are experiencing.
I’m so glad to hear that Alexa is doing well after her chemo tx. and that she only has one more to go! She sounds like such an amazing little girl! I think we should all have a forum “party” on SCS (can we do that?) in celebration of her last treatment when the time comes. She could “see” all of her mommy’s and now her PSF’s wishing her well on-line at the same time! Just a thought!
Your card is darling, as usual! My husband, who never says much about my hobby “spending” came in the other day while I was online “browsing” and made a comment about all of the UPS packages arriving as of late! I went straight to your blog and showed him your picture and said, “It’s all her fault!” Hahaha:) Thanks for the inspiration, Lauren-in stamping and life!
This is a beautiful card….I love this little fairy and I like the little embossed piece in the back. Joan
I love this card! The idea of the circle behind it and makes it really stand out. The colouring is absolutely gorgeous, and I was wondering if you could tell me what colouring tools you used? I’m a beginner at stamping/card making and have been using the Lyra pencil crayons and the mineral water to blend with, but have not experimented with anything else yet. Beautiful card, very feminine.
Lauren, don’t ever feel like you are annoying us with talking about Alexa and her chemo. We love to hear how she is doing. It is amazing what that little girl has gone through. You must be so incredibly proud!!!!! Can’t wait till it is all over for her. Keep us updated on every detail!!! Even though I have never met you and your family, I like I know you so well. I care about you like you would not believe. Thank you for everything you do for us on your blog. It is so greatly appreciated. I get so much inspiration from your stamping and just from the courage that you show us you have every day!
Sappy??? We have a right to that every now and then!!! Just you wait ’til next month…it will be happy sappy wiht alexa being done with chemo!!! Are you planning a celebration?!
Glad more people are “finding” you…so glad I did! Have a great day!
So gorgeous!!
You are so deserving of each and everyone of those comments and what an honor for “Ms. Bella” herself to leave such a heartfelt comment! I’m so proud of you!
I am overjoyed with the news about Alexa! One more to go! In some ways it seems like only yesterday that we all heard the sad news and in other ways, it’s been such a long journey for all of us (especially for Miss Alexa herself). You all will forever be in my prayers, hopes and wishes!
If you’re sappy then you’re in good company! 🙂 I think the majority, if not all of us, got teary eyed reading your post yesterday. It was a beautiful tribute to *all* moms out there! Thank you for making all of us feel special and for an opportunity/prayer to the ones we’ve lost as well as the ones we still have.
Big, big, BIG hugs to you and Alexa! ♥
Another gorgeous card! No matter which card you give her for her birthday she will luv it! I do agree that the Bella card would make a great tribute to your mom for Mother”s Day! So glad that Alexa’s chemo went well.
I just think it’s great to be able to still have your mom when you can appreciate her. I lost my mom before I had children of my own, and while I loved her I couldn’t really fully appreciate her until I became a mother myself. So I can’t wait to become a grandma! LOL!
WOW WOW WOW! That is SOOOO cute! I ordered one of those, I can’t wait to get it!
Your post was so great, and Em’s comment was SO special! That is just awesome…she has to be thrilled that you used her Bellas so beautifully! AMAZING!
I’m thrilled that Alexa only has one more treatment, that is FABULOUS! Bless her heart, she has been through so much. And you have handled it all so well…you are one great supermom!
Blessings to all of you, and thank you for the joy you bring to all of us with your blog! 😀 MWAH To you!
Everything you do never ceases to amaze me. You are an amazing stamper but most of all an amazing mother and a woman that I sincerely admire. I am so glad that Alexa is so close to the end of her treatments. Her and your family are in my prayers.
Lauren, in my world you are a SUPERSTAR! Forget Hollywood, they should know you.
I love your attitude and creativity. You are unselfish and just keep giving even though you have so much on your plate. I share in your joy of 1 more treatment, I can totally understand…the last one will be reason to REALLY CELEBRATE and give God the glory.
Will that be in two weeks, can you give me a date?
Little Miss Eloise Greengarss is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the colors, textures, sparkle, and your wonderful coloring. TFS.
Fantastic card – I love this image, and how you have done it. Really like the ‘out of the circle’ idea, and the way the rest of the card really does focus attention on the image.
I also loved, loved, loved your bella card for your Mom and all the sappy words you said. I think it’s wonderful of you to create that for her.
I’m also so happy Alexa only has one more treatment. Such a brave girl to deal with so much in her young life. I think sometimes it’s harder on Mom because you would so much rather it be you than your kids. She is such a sweet girl and you are a great Mom to all your kids.
Wow, I have to check out the Chichiboule line, cute, cute!
Hugs to you!
LAuren, Both of Mom’s cards are AWESOME!!!! I love the Bella one. You just rock! I thought the post was heartfelt. If it sounded too sappy for someone- who the heck cares!
And I am so stinkin excited for Alexa. Don’t you dare stop telling us about her LAST chemo. It’s SO NOT annoying. It’s exciting! What a tulmultuous journey this has been for your family. I am so glad she has done so well and I pray she continues to thrive and kick this thing. What a lucky kid she is to have a mom like you too. Okay, now I’m getting a little sappy. Oh well, I mean it . So who the heck cares if I sound silly! Big hugs and continued prayers!
Lauren, I just wanted you to know what an inspiration you are to me in so many ways. You are an awesom role model as an Artist, as a Woman and as a Mommy. I strive daily to be somewhat like you. Apparently, this comes very naturally to you as you obviously sail through it all with grace and dignity.
Looking at your beautiful cards always makes my day brighter……Thank you for being you! Love, Kelly
Lauren, Sweet blessings on your entire family as you have all gone through this chemo walk together. Our prayers are with you. Having gone through this with a dear friend, I know the excitement surrounding the “last chemo”.
Beautiful card, awesome layout….like the others, how did you cut her out? Did you stamp her on an oval and cut off the bottom? BTW, can you share your mom’s blogsite again? Thanks and Prayers.
Before I start my ranting about your beautiful cards, NEVER mind talking about Alexa’s chemo. Us mothers know how stressful it is to be the mother of a sick child. Very hard-but with the love of ones you know and those of us you “don’t” it is okay.
Now…your card…that fairy just sings to ya. Very pretty.
And you are a brave, brave girl for telling how many Bellas you have-knowing your hubby reads this. And I am super-duper jealous again. 50 Bellas….I just wish I was one of your kids so I could play with them. 😉
Saving the super-Bella card for Mother’s Day is even a better idea.
Keep giving-and we will keep enjoying!
First off – I LOVE all your cards – you do an amazing job!!
Second – I just had to tell you that because of YOU I just put in my first order with PTI. I got the Pond Life (is that what it’s called?? Now I’m blanking on it…) stamps and the sentiments that go with it, plus my first set of Nestabilities…the large scallop circles (and the mat you need with them).
So it’s YOUR fault that now I actually have to WAIT to get my new goodies!! 😉 Thanks for being an inspiration!!
Oh Lauren, I have really tried to hold off on getting hooked with another line of stamps, but this did for me! Thanks so much for sharing from your heart, and giving us a glimpse of your Mom. She must be sooo proud of you. God Bless.
Oh, Lauren, this card is just precious. I love both of your mom’s cards. May just have to get this stamp too someday. 🙂 Like Laura said, who the heck cares if you get sappy, or constantly talk about Alexa’s last chemo. One, it’s your blog, two, you’ve been through one heck of a rough ride the last couple of years and so deserve to get it out. So what kind of a party are we throwing?
Hi Lauren,
Just wanted to say I LOVED the bella card yesterday!!! It really touched me!!!!! Having lost my mother 2 years ago, I cannot make one for her and I just wanted to remind your readers to cherish your mothers!!!!!! You never know when they will be taken from you!!!
Glad Alexa is down to one!!! I don’t think anyone minds you when you keep counting down. In fact we are counting down with you!! I wish her the best!!!
I read your blog everyday and enjoy it so much!!!! Jason must be one sweetheart of a guy!!!! You know you much own more bellas than that! LOL!!!! ;0)
Hi Lauren,
I too look forward to your blog every day and just love all of your cards. I absolutely love this one, especially since you used two of my favorite colors together – pink & green. I actually have the same question that Elyse asked…how did you do the circle on top and get the image half on the bottom? Inquiring minds want to know!! LOL!
Thanks,
Sue
Lauren, you are becoming such a **Rock Star** in the world of stamping and paper crafts, and you certainly deserve it.
When I saw all the work you put into the Papertrey launch post with all their new sets, it just totall BLEW me away with all your adorable cards and altered items.
Then just to add another layer of icing on the cake, when I saw your beautiful tribute to your Mom and all the Bella images you used, telling the story, it teared me up and just really left me in AWE of how miraculous your designs and ideas have grown 🙂 Maybe it’s because you have open access to your other **Obcession**~~ your specific brand of coffee, Dunken Donuts Coffee ~ maybe that has opened the flow of blood to the front lobe of your brain where all your creativity comes from. Geee if I drink that brand of coffee, same number of cups as you do in a day, will my creative juices start flowing and blowing everyone out of this world with my stuff??? haaaaa I could only wish and dream.
Congrats Laruen on a truely wonderful job and how you constantly are moving forward and conquer each creation and technique with such ease and grace.
You are my Hero :0)
Very pretty card, love how she is coming off the circle! Lovely ribbon and great coloring, she will LOVE it!
Hey Girl ~ Sorry I haven’t been by to comment lately. I love this fairy bella and the way you colored it! I adored your tribute to your mom…what a sweet daughter. Speaking of which…I am going to have a grandson for my first grandbaby!!! We were quite shocked, because we knew it was a girl…He surprised us! Here’s hoping you and yours stay healthy and well 🙂
I am so happy that there is one more left, for Alexis. WOW, that is so fantastic. I think of her and your family often. I hope you know I never get tired of hearing how she is. That is the one thing that I love about your blog, is your family, and wonderful thoughts!
