   Lauren,

   I can see how she would not think this was the same pup!! My ds looked at the pics and when I told him that they were the same dog, he did not believe me..

   I like him both ways, but I really like his long hair. Great pic’s of the kids. Love the smiles.

   you know, I was thinking the same thing. She looks like a different dog. I had to look at the before picture to make the connection, even then she doesn’t look the same. I always love getting the dogs back when they get groomed. Their fur is so soft and they smell so good. You almost don’t want them to go back outside and get nasty again.

   Oh, she’s sooooo adorable! I just LOVE her coloring…it’s perfect! If I could have a dog just like her, I’d take it in a second!
   Her groomer did a great job, but I do kind of like the long hair look, too! Just a little trim around the eyes, and leave the rest??!! It will grow back SO fast….then you can decide which is better! 😀

   That is so cute…she really does look like a completely different dog 🙂 I’m sure you all will get used to it, and then it will grow long, then you’ll get her groomed….visious cycle.

   Hope your finger is feeling better as the day goes by – it will probably be a while though…OUCH….so was this a car door, or in the house?? either way yikes.

    Lauren the photos of the kids with Daisy are just adorable. A friend of mine has a dog like Daisy, his name is Louie. They really are sweet dogs and boy do they have soft paws!!!

    Awww she’s cute both ways! Our Snickers is a Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel cross and her HAIR grows too…. We let it get all long and it covers her eyes….and then we take her for a grooming and she gets all shaved down….shorter than Daisy did….and we always wonder if her eyes hurt from the light afterwards….haha! It grows so fast because they have HAIR not FUR.
    LOL when we get Snickers groomed she doesn’t even LOOK like the same dog….her coat is a lot lighter and gets darker as it grows back.

    oh she is adorable is both pictures! Thanks for posting them. I remember the first time I got my dog groomed professionally and they do look so different when you pick them up. You should enter her picture in rubber hedgehog’s pet star contest. If she wins you get a rubber stamp of your dog! My dog won one of the first place positions in 2006, and their artist is amazing. She gets your dog perfect.

    So Cute! It is amazing what groomers can do. Growing up, we had German Wirehair Pointers but we didn’t groom them since they were hunting dogs and my dad wanted to protect them from the brush. We had our dog kenneled and when we came back she was groomed – we also did a double take wondering if it was our dog!

    I’m guility of eating many of those baseball candy bars. In Oregon, we sold See’s, they were do die for!

    Daisy looks like a completely different dog. Bandit is the same way – looks totally different afterwards. I can just picture Alexa saying that. How cute!

    Looks like the haircut my toy poodle/papillion gets…. and I LOVE how soft he is after a haircut!!! I like the look of the longer hair on my dog more (more character) but I hate the matts he gets…. and the short hair is just so soft!!

    Geez…. If only I looked THAT CUTE after coming home from my $100 haircuts :-> Maybe I should try the doggie’s groomer instead!

    We have a labrodoodle who weighs about 55lbs… and has the exact same coloring as Daisy. I enjoy your tidbits about the doggie and your family.. they run so similar to our household. I chuckle every time. And just wait, if Daisy is anything like our doggie, in no time at all (maybe 6-8weeks) she’ll probably be back to the longer fur!

    Now Daisy, Alexa and Noah all have cute cropped cuts. I bet Daisy feels “Daisy” fresh, now! Mine is a very tall and sturdy 100 pound Japanese black lab, that thinks he is a lap dog. My daughter thinks it is her “little pony”. I still want a sweet smaller dog like Daisy. Hope your finger feels better!!!!!!

    What a cutie pie! She MUST feel better too! We get our dog shaved down “to the wood” so to speak… She looks like a golden retriever, but in the summer se loks like a lab puppy instead! MUCH CLEANER!

    I love Alexa’s reaction! I bet that thought entered your mind when you first saw her groomed as well (Who switched my dog!?!). Such cuties in your household – 2 and 4 legged!!

    Daisy is so cute after her haircut. It always amazes me how they go from grungy furball to total cuteness! However, she is not nearly as cute as she was when she was a cute little puppy. It is so important to document puppy’s first year, oh, but that’s right, you said you didn’t scrapbook. Such a shame. hehehehe (there’s that sneaky laugh again!)

    I came across your page by accident, looking for cockapoo cuts:) because i dont want the poodle cut.. well daisy could be our Carlee’s twin! same color and same sweet face..
    I will take your picture to the groomers.. for our carlee looks like Daisy’s before picture! thank you! i love the teddy bear feet.. this breed has hair thats like a teddy bear:)
    they are the perfect dogs!!
