THANK YOU! To all of you who told me your “teeth” stories or offered encouraging words about our kids dentist visit.
Made me feel a whole lot better. Knowing I’m not the only one. I felt like the dentist must not believe I have them brush their teeth, with that many cavities. He was surprised Amber has the same diet and her teeth are in his words-“gorgeous”.
I appreciate each of you taking the time to share. Means so much.
Now I am off to take Alexa to chemo. Will be gone most of today. Exhausting.
I just feel plain ole BLECH!!!!!
This card I decided to share is so not that way. It makes me smile looking at it.
I was so drawn to the colors and simplicity. Oh yeah, and lets not forget the bling.
Stamps-Build a Bloom, rub on by Making Memories
So I will share it here and with it celebrate the good things-
I have 3 beautiful children, who I think love me as much as I love them.
Alexa is Cancer free, and the 2 other children are pretty darn healthy, a man who loves me, a happy marriage, a new puppy, and a good life, with lots of friends.
We have a roof over our head, food in the fridge and clothes on our back-lets not forget a room full of stamp yummies!
I have met many goals and continue to do so.
So no more whining. Sorry.
I have SO many cool things to share, but little time today-I know you understand. Plus the editing is a killer when you are crunched for time. Oh and you know me, blah, blah blah all the time.
That being said I was shocked when Lisa asked me if she could S.W.A.K. me!
Now when Lisa asks, you don’t say NO!!!! You kind of fall off your chair, and then politely respond YES!!!!
Here are the deet’s, and who will be playing
PLAYERS
So, come back here Thursday and see what I come up with. Is that not exciting?
You can join in-just leave me a link to your blog/gallery so we can all check it out.
OK I’m off.
Till tomorrow.

It’s okay to whine every now and then…you need an outlet for that you know!
This card is adorable, and you’re right! We all have so many things to be thankful for. Hugs today!
trust me… my little Ella was the first to have a cavity…. I was mortified! It ended up being a SS crown! We figured out that she had been pocketing her food after eating it… like a chipmunk. LOL! Hang in there. Some kids just have natural pits and fissures and a higher bacteria count in their mouths. it is what it is. 🙂
Ok… I better finish up my S.W.A.K down card… I can tell from this awesome card you just posted that I’m in for it BIG time!!! 🙂
Ooh Lauren, such a pretty card. Very hip! I like it! Have fun with the S.W.A.K. down!
A little whine is good now and then…and Lauren – you ALWAYS find the bright spot, so don’t feel bad about it. I’ll be praying for Alexa, and hope the after effects of her chemo aren’t too bad today. I love your card, makes me smile too 🙂 Good luck with the SWAK down…I’ve got so much stamping to do, and not enough time, don’t know if I’ll be able to play along…but that template is oh so cute 🙂
HUGS friend, have a great day!!
So glad you are feeling better! But I know today is a hard day for you and Alexa…and the whole family. Sure hope it goes as well as it can…
LOVE the card, that’s GREAT! Beautiful colors, too…
Take care, and get some good sleep tonight! 😀
Hey Kiddo…
Don’t feel bad about the dentist, and never feel bad about sharing your feelings. Although we do our best, we moms can’t help the “guilty” feelings. I think that’s what makes us good moms. And yes, we are totally blessed!
Congratulations on the “SWAK” down. I saw that on Lisa’s blog earlier this morning. That’s totally awesome and I can’t wait to see what you and the others come up with. I haven’t checked out the pattern yet but I will. Have fun with it.
BIG HUGS and PRAYERS for Alexa and her chemo today. I’ll be thinking of you.
Hugs,
Renee
Oh, forgot to say… Love your card too! It just makes you happy looking at it – love the bling!
Love your card too!
Nice simple beautiful card…priceless!!! I luv it, girl! It’s great to be versatile, don’t ya think? Good luck Alexa!
You are too hard on yourself. You are a wonderful mother, very caring, and encouraging. Some people just get cavities no matter what. And you are getting it taken care of, so Noah will have good teeth in the future.
I’m sure you have no idea how much your readers enjoy your blog, admire you, and wish you and your family the best.
Prayers for Alexa and the after effects won’t be bad for her. Can’t wait to see what you come up with for the swak down; it’ll be awesome that’s for sure.
Prayers for Alexa and you today and always.
Can’t wait to see your SWAK creation!
Dear friend, I will support you all the time and you have us, you are not alone!
