Have you ever made something that you LOVED, but no one else seemed to really notice?
Doesn’t it drive you crazy?
This happens to me all the time. I think I have bad taste!
Even with submissions. There will be something I’m not sure about sending, and its the first thing picked! The things I LOVE-no go!
Well, I came across one of those creations today! An under loved piece of magic (:D)
I was scanning through my files, so I could update my published list, and found my VERY FIRST EVER Papertrey Ink card! I felt since I stayed up till 12:35 am, to get in my order-(YES! The site crashed AGAIN!) that I should share a sample with you.
Here it is-
When I saw the Butterfly Kisses set I knew that Papertrey Ink would KILL my pocketbook. I was in love.
So, back to my thoughts-I LOVED this card. I mean REALLY LOVED. I don’t think anyone ever noticed it. Its still, to this day, one of my most favorite I have ever created.
Now since I am in a spring mode, after our foot of snow-
I figured I’d share a tin I made with you (2 months ago!!!), using the NEW! Lizzie Anne Dreaming of Dots. Now I have to tell you how much I LOVE this set. Its so hard to “sit” on projects sometimes.
But now I can share away!
Click for larger view. Inside fits 4 Ghirardelli chocolate squares.
You have to LOVE Martha Stewart’s wide adhesive ribbon! That is what is on the bottom portion of my tin. It matched the SU! Guava ribbon PERFECTLY!
Now this tin can seriously be whipped together in UNDER 5 minutes! Minus the time for the liquid pearls centers of the flower’s to dry.
Is it not so cute?
These are cute for Easter-if you give Teacher’s anything.
Anyway-I must run. Got to run the kids around today.
Hope you enjoy the day.
I’ll be back tomorrow to share some WAY cool thing I have been doing! You really will want to see this!
Unless you don’t want to spend anymore $$$ (wink). Yes, its THAT good.
HINT-Another great gift idea.
Till tomorrow-

This tin is just darling! Makes me want to get in my car and drive to Mike’s for the ribbon!
Thanks for sharing! Elizabeth
I think your card is very pretty! I totally understand about people not noticing your favorites. Sometimes, I feel lost in the huge sea that is SCS. There is so much talent and so many projects getting posted that I wonder what people think when they see anything I posted. Can’t wait to see your next project!
You’re killing me over here!
Love the tin! Way too cute! Thank you so much for giving me a “visual” that relates to chocolate. Now I can “see” just how big they are! Measurements mean nothing. LOL
I can’t understand how anything of yours doesn’t get the ‘notice’ it deserves. I can’t think of one thing you’ve created that didn’t floor me.
Talk to you later. Have fun and I’ll be stalking for tomorrow’s little surprises
Hugs,
Renee
that tin is fantastic, love that card.
super cute projects! I’m ready for spring!
I love that card! And your tin is so cute, you always come up with the best ideas for gifts!
Have a fun day of running around!
I LOVE your card…and one reason I don’t submit stuff, IS because of what they pick!!! I guess I have bad taste, too! LOL
That picture of Daisy is SOOOO precious, I wish we could clone her and get a bunch of puppies spread all over the country!!! I would take one in a second!
Hugs to you, hope your day goes well. Can’t wait to see what else you have for us!!
You SOOOO do not have bad taste!!! I love this card. Some people just do not know good things when they see them!!!! LOL!!!
Want to send some of that snow to PA? Kace wants to build a snowman and go sledding so badly, but these storms just keep by passing us and hitting you!!!
Love your work Lauren.. Where do you find the time..
Janine
Beautiful Lauren!

Wow your card is so pretty. Love that little tin – great gift idea and love the ribbon on the bottom.
Both are very, very cute! You are so creative!!
It IS a gorgeous card. The most important thing is that you know how pretty it is and it makes YOU happy!
I LOVE it and completely concur!
I love this card! How could it ever go unnoticed? For that matter, how anything you create could go unnoticed is beyond me. You’re so talented! Love the tin! Thanks for sharing it!

You said: Even with submissions. There will be something I’m not sure about sending, and its the first thing picked! The things I LOVE-no go!
That’s exactly what my friend, Jacki, always said about the things she submitted! I guess it goes to show you should send EVERYTHING, even if You don’t like it! However, I really don’t think I’ve ever seen anything you made that I didn’t like!!! Cool stuff on here lately & adorable pic of Daisy!
So cute, I didn’t know Martha had those huge ribbons, I have to check that out!
I swear reading your blog turns out to be costly! LOL!
Beautiful Lauren. These are just darling.
Can you tell me where you got the tins that fit the Ghirardelli chocolate squares?
Thanks
