I loved reading & seeing all the pictures of your wedding. You and Jason are a beautiful couple and I am happy that you have found the. love of your life. Wedding Story: My reception was held in the basement of my parent's house - they live in the country. My Dad had to go and milk the cow he had at the time and invited the wedding guests to trek out to the barn to watch. Several of our "city" guests took him up on it. Our best man even got into the act and did a bit of milking while wearing his tux. DH & I have been married for 36 years, have 2 children and 2 adorable granddaughters. We still love each other very much and have had our ups and downs but have always leaned on each other for support. We are also each other's best friend and enjoy spending timie together. Funny thing, my husband and I were just talking about our wedding. As we had to push it forward due to immigration issues. So we got married on February 24th 2005, instead of March 5th, 2005. During the wedding preparations, we had disagreements about what kind of wedding we want, I wanted small, just couple people, he wanted big where he can invite all his friends and family. So we both ended up getting our way. We got married on the 24th in the living room of the family I lived with at that time. It was the most romantic thing. My husband's mom wasn't able to come due to a huge snow storm...LoL...so we didn't have any relatives present. LoL...we got married on the front of the fire place. Candles, snow storm outside...Our closest friends...One of Sean's (my husband) groomsmen got lost in the neighbourhood, as he couldn't find the house in the storm LoL, so he never made it.The best man's wife was 9 months pregnant and about to give a birth any moment. So she gave birth on February 26th. We has the second reception and wedding kind of ceremony thought we were married on March 5th (no way canceling the church etc and telling everyone to not come, cause we are married). Then when we went to Macedonia in April, 2006 (where I am from) my mother thew us an wedding reception, lol. Happy Anniversary Lauren!
