OK I love when people LOVE things, and you just just feel their excitement. So I want to share my excitement withย YOU about a couple of products!
In return I WANT to be enabled! More about that in a minute.
I am in LOVE with the new Glue Pad. OMG! Its AMAZING! I recently discovered the beauty of this pad when browsing my friend Rebecca’s Blog. She did a blurb on it , with some samples. Well you know me. I HAD to have it! LOL! Now I see WHAT all the fuss is about.
Now I love using this pad with my new Lizzie Anne Designs set called Jolies Fleurs. I CANT stop using it! Seriously! It isnt released yet- May 28th! But Im SO IN LOVEย – it its insane.
I can tell you that Lindsey (aka Jacksonbelle) is selling them in her EBay store NOW! All the NEW! yet to be released sets. She signed up with them as a wholesaler, to sell them. SO RUN!!!!!! And tell her I sent ya!
Now I know you want to see a million of the delicious samples I made BUT I cant share yet. They are for design team work and are going into Lizzie Anne’s Idea book OR possibly published elsewhere! So you have to wait! But I will share ONE!
Coral LeFleur
Are you drooling on that keyboard? I know I am! LOL!
I stamped the Fleur on white cardstock in versamark, then gold embossed it. I used my Fantastics brush tip (another favorite) and Versamagic ink dew drop pads (and another)to color the flower in. Cut it out, and added a jewel.
The flowers were stamped using the Glue Pad. I then used another FAVORITE product my Martha Stewart cardstock, AND her new Glitter! OMG! The colors are to DIE FOR!
So I stamped the sprinkled my glitter. DONE! Simple, and elegant!
So yes I LOVE the MS cardstock. The quality is great, as is the color selection. I am really in love with all her glitter!! I just cannot put it down.
Another great thing she sells is her Glue Pen (pictured above) OMW! Its really top quality.ย Oh I just cant stop gushing. I wish I got paid for this! LOL! Or a commission ๐
SOOOO, Do you love it yet?
NOW-ย I need you to respond to this thread with a few NEW products you LOVE.
I will randomly pick a winner on Sunday. This winner will receive their choice of glitter from Martha Stewart! Because I love it so much. If you are randomly picked email me your address and color choice and “I” will go pick it up for you.
That is my gift to YOU for enabling ME too.
So get me hungry for retail therapy. Im dying to know what all the RAGE that Im missing out on! If you provide a link that would be double awesome!
Oh and if you have any of these products I gushed over, let me know what YOU think about them too.
Can’t wait to read all about it!

Well, honestly, I’m always behind the lastest wave. With two little ones at home..I mostly browse the blogs and DROOL! Hee hee. But, I do have my coupon all ready to go to Michael’s this weekend bc I have been soooo wanting to try that MS glitter. I’m thinking a really soft pink….and some pale blue….and maybe some ribbon to match….
My keyboard is quite wet with drool. I don’t have any new things to enable you with (you are to good at doing that to us!!! LOL) After your post yesterday, I just submitted my first All That Scraps order 1/2 an hour ago!!!! This card is just amazing. Now I have some more stuff to go get!!!! Thanks again for your wonderful inspiration.
Well I come to you for the enabling and the inspiration so I really don’t have anything new to share, but have decided I better try these MS glitters since you love them so much, tfs!!
Vicky
Just saw your post about the Lizzie stamp set. First I thought, oh another flower set, but when I saw the card you made it changed my mind!!LOL
This might be old news, but to me it is new. Have you had a chance to try the Sakura 3D glaze pens?? I love these pens! They are so Neat. The ink “pops up” when it drys. Love using them.
Oh Lauren , you stamping, shopping goddess what can I tell you you don’t already know? How about eP’s cute little totes. You need one for shopping I think. It would be perfect for your shopping weekends with Paulette. But you might need a new outfit to match.
This candy is great – yikes!!! A few things – stamps – that I’ve recently gotten after seeing them on your blog and others and SCS: Autumn Leaves Swirls (finally found them at a LSS!!), Crafty Secrets Bird Notes and Green Grass Stamps– Card Greetings. I LOVE GGS– love seeing your work with them!!! Now I have to add Lizzie Anne and MFT to my wishlist!!! TOO many stamps to play with!!
I have NONE of these products, but keep reading about them here and there and would love to have ALL of them! Thanks for your excellent blog! Susan
I am drooling and love what you did. I have read about the glue pad and would like to try it but have not seen it here yet. I have the Pallett brand glue pad but don’t like the fact that you have to heat set it otherwise whatever medium you use eventually comes off. The newest thing I love using is the Sakura glitter pen. It just adds to the cards when I use it. I also just recently purchase the CTMH clear blocks for the clear stamps and I love them. Love the fact that they are indented so it’s like using a Stampin Up stamp. Hope you keep inspiring and enabling us.
You dawg you! (grin)…now I MUST go spend some money…I adore your example…so pretty! I am so behind the times…being out in the boonies here I have to get everything on line and I am not a good computer shopper…(but I am becoming better lately!) I just got my mega scalloped circle punch this past week…see how out of it I am…and I just got my stickles and my glitter pens…(see, I AM learning!) Okay, so for enabling you…don’t think I can, but I will tell you about a product that I want to gush over…I mean, I am soooo geeked about it I could just burst! It is a new adhesive (at least to me) called Ad tech glue runner. It looks a lot like the tombow or SU snail, but it BONDS….awesome! I mean, I actually had to PULL apart a card and it wouldn’t work…this stuff rocks my world…I have been searching the world over for a strong snail adhesive and this is it…!!! LOVE IT!
If you only knew how much I have already spent on stamp stuff this week alone! ๐ I have the glue pad but haven’t used it yet (shame on me, I know) so I NEED to be the winner of the glitter so I can finally use it! ๐
So YOU want US to enable YOU??? c’mon…don’t you remember??
Lauren: “you mean, you don’t have that? You really need one of those quickie glue pens…”
Me to the Cashier: “Alright, give me a glue pen”
I can honestly say, there is probably NOTHING that I can enable YOU with, but I have a feeling my bank account is about to take another hit ๐
If I think of something, I’ll be sure to let you know! ๐
Awesome.. I just got the glue pad and haven’t had much luck with it…. The glitter falls off of the image… any tips? lovin the new stamps…. I am looking into getting the bind it all…. do you have that? I want everything!!! There is something new almost daily that I want…. I am going to go BROKE!
Beth
New — what’s the definition of new?
Bought a package of Bazzillbling orange when out-of-town in Feb. — haven’t opened it yet. Now people are talking about the bling on SCS.
Awaiting my Bellas to arrive, still don’t have any.
Use my new scalloped punches all the time.
Awaiting the MFT stamps — should come anytime.
Have some gorgeous charms from a charm company.
And bestest of all, of course, is the Alexa stamp on the way.
Don’t you think I’ve been enabled enough already ๐
I have to admit I got the new glue pen to by MS & I love it to. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It works so much better than all those other ones I’ve tried. And it works in the smallest of spaces. Can you tell I like it? No, ok ๐
Well seeing I just came back from Michaels with a bag full of Marthas glitter and matching ribbon I’d have to agree with you!!!! The colors are sooo yummy!!!
But something I have & you don’t???? I know you are an organization freak like me. So… I am in love with my new ink pad storage containers from http://www.bestscrapbookshelf.com they are called portaink . I have 3 of these babies lined up against my wall and you can even get a markerbuddy to attach to the sides. The shipping was very slow due to a new manufacturer but it was well worth the wait. Each unit holds 24 S.U. pads
I had the turn around type before but I just LOVE this set up. You can even hang them on your wall so it doesn’t interfere with your work space.
Your swirls and flowers look so AWESOME in glitter! WOW! I’ve recently started using the versamagic inks too. Pretty sure I’m in love. Something new: it’s not too exciting but, I like some new designer papers by Me & My Big Ideas. It’s GLOSSY! How cool is that? Here’s a link to a card I made:
http://bethanypaull.blogspot.com/2007/05/i-cheated-bit.html
And here’s a link to the paper:
http://www.meandmybigideas.com/public/product_cat.php/subid=139/index.html
I love the gluepad! Thanks for mentioning you saw it on my blog!
Rebecca
OMG Lauren, you really SHOULD get a commission! The way you describe stuff makes me want to rush right out and buy it *right now*, LOL! I am totally drooling over that gorgeous card. Now I need to go to Michaels and look again at the MS stuff. I didn’t think I’d like any of it at first glance!
Sharon
Ever since I saw that particular polymer set, I wish I’da got that one instead of the Rhona Ferrar (sp!) one that I ended up getting! That one looks like it has SO many more possibilities.
OK, you wanted something that you may not have seen before. Here is a stamp that I actually own, and you probably do not (unheard of!) It is a true rubber & wood stamp, from a store north of me in Green Bay, called Endless Creations. They make their own stamps there. Here is the link to the one that I really like:
http://www.shopec.com/store/large/13sjg/Friends_by_endless_Creations_Inc/H95.html
I’m sending some of the PSF’s in the goodie swap stamped images of it, if they want one!! Isn’t the sentiment the best??
I recently heard about this glue pad and have been looking for it. Can’t wait to get my hands on one!!!
But I have found some other really great new stuff I am super excited about.
I have discovered Stampington publications. OMG! I just LOVE their magazines!! And I recently went on the website and placed a big order for stamps and other things. We are now talking new place for addiction!!! I love all the things I got including victorian stamps, patriotic stamps, beautiful ribbon with french script writing on it, paper lace “pouches” (so cool!) and all kinds of other awesome stuff! Their shipping was reasonable and super fast, too.
And in Michael’s recently I found a little case filled with chipboard pieces- all in PUZZLE PIECE shapes! There are colored peices and pieces with words, etc. I am thinking they will be so cool to use with Gina K’s “Love You to Pieces” Autism stamp set!!! They are made by K& Company and are cool, cool, cool!
Oh you’re such an enabler!!! Well, my latest love is a Martha Stewart punch (made by EK Success). It’s a pointy edged circle punch (Starburst, I think it’s called), and I’ve been using it on quite a few cards lately. I’ve been stamping small sentiments and punched it out with this punch, then popped it with a pop dot. It’s great way to make a small sentiment, well, pop, out on your card!
I am loving the clear stamps. I am new to them and by using them and the versamagic chalk ink pads I am getting beautiful images. I am ever doing some mounting of unmounted rubber stamps on the cling foam. Wow!! Love that cling foam. Just too many things to love. I too love the glue pad, but have none of the MS glitter. Thanks for the enabling.
Cheryl Sims
This week, I used my Michael’s coupons on the CutterBee Curvy Cutters (oval & circle). O.M.G. I am totally in love. I’ve been through like 3 or 4 different brands of circle cutters, and this thing is the hands-down winner. I’m gonna sell my CM cutter, as well as my Fiskars cutters AND the Coluzzle!
Love your blog, and your SCS gallery!
drooooooling!
ADORE that set!
thanks for another good review of the glue pad, looks like i’ll have to break down and get it for ease of glittering – and since i have 3 girls, i love the glitter! my new faves lately are the fabulous papers i got at costco and my bind-it-all….using them both do death! now i just have to get into a coaster share ๐
happy weekend, tammy
I didn’t realize it before I read your blog, but I NEED the glue AND the glitter!!! What great products. I am in a craftin mood, hope I get lucky, but good luck to all the other needy people (-:
Peggy
Lauren
I love your blog…My newest things are two bella stamps, scalloped punches which
I love and can’t be without. I just ordered my first clear stamps from paper trey ink. Can’t wait to get them. Barb
I have the glue pad and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Sadly we have no Michael’s or JoAnns here so I feel like I’m missing out on a lot of the fun with the new Martha stuff. I’m pretty out of the loop as far as new products go but it’s sure fun to find out what’s out there.
Well you should receive commissions. You make beauty look so easy (although it is not). You inspire ALOT of purchases. I love tiny adhesive pearls. I got mine at Mike’s. They look so elegant on a card.
Oh there are too many things to mention, yet so many things I don’t have yet! I love your blog – thanks for the goodies!
I’m usually behind everyone else on new products, so this is probably not new to you, but I love the Bazzill Bling cardstock run through the cuttlebug with the embossing folders. So pretty with so much texture and shine! I also just got from Ellen’s store the ornare stencils for paper piercing; they make sure pretty designs.
Hmmm….what cool stamping products do I have that Lauren does not? Hmmm…..nothing. What can I rave about that Lauren may like….Pepperidge Farm Orange Milano cookies. As essential to stamping IMO as stamps themselves. LOL! Seriously, my new favorite toy is the Bind it All (which I know you have already…).
Beautiful card above! I agree with you on the MS glitter, all the colors are to die for. I haven’t checked out her CS colors, but I have a feeling I will.
Linda
What could I possibly have that you don’t already own??? My own laptop?? Jason really needs to get you your own computer. Tell him it’s a “business investment”. ๐
Great Lauren, now I’m going to spend all next week filling up the Martha Stewart glitter display as will half the other Michael’s employees around the country. It was bad enough that I spent a chunck of my day with her today as it was. LOL My favorite new product is Martha’s exacto knife. It is so easy on your hands and very manuverable in tight spaces (We got three in today so you had better stop on your way to Manchester tomorrow if you want one.) It works really well with Martha’s rulers and cutting mats. It can sub for the perfect layer tool and works really awesome with her 18 x 18 papers which I also like a lot. Hope I have enabled you a little because you have enabled me a lot! Keep it up!
I recently discovered Hero Arts’ iridescent colored sequins…AWESOME for flower centers and ends of cursive words and just random embellishing!!! AND THEY ARE CHEAP! ๐
Hey Lauren…I want so much (even when I have spent so much this month!). I would like some of the Bitzy bugs like you have posted, some Stampendous blooms like Julia works with (Fresh Bloom and Poppies), some Agapanthus like Rose Ann has, some Fancy Pants Pollen Dust like Alli has, some Stampendous bees like Beate has…I could go on…but I’ll stop now! Oh, and when they finally have that glue pad in my LSS, I wanna try that too!

Current favorites:
* Cuttlebug (I know it’s not exactly new, but I am ADDICTED to putting all sorts of things in it!
* Bind-It-All! It’s just fun to make little books!
* All the MS products! I spent a FORTUNE and I don’t regret it at all!
* All Crafty Secrets stamp sets – too pretty!
* Papertrey’s new ladybug set – mine just arrived today!
Oh, I could go on and on!!!
All the new things I try, I find in looking at blogs. I guess I am not up to date on all of the latest stuff. I bought the Papertrey Ink butterfly stamp set from seeing it used on your beautiful cards. One other thing I like is altering chip board (letters, numbers or symbols)on cards. I also recently purchases two large clothes pins from Michaels and put DP on them and put a coat of Mod Podge on it. They were sooo cute. I hope those count.
I’m also in love with the Martha twine and the starburst punch perfect for rosies’roadshow and savvy sayings. I’m still totally in love with my cuttlebug embossing folders and machine. I also loved the Martha glitter tape you peel off the top layer then burnish down rest of the adhesive then sprinkle with that lovely glitter they have flowers and leaves and alphabet alot come on the roll so shared with friends.
That card is gorgeous! I think I am going to have to track down one of those glue pads too! Great job, Lauren!
I’m eagerly awaiting June 1st, so I can pre-order the new SU goodies from the next catalog!! Purty colors, here I come!! ๐
Well, don’t know if they’re new to you, but in this part of the country they are – it’s the new Primas in polka-dots, checks, etc. I haven’t gotten any yet, but will have to do so, of course! : )
I just ordered the glue pad, can’t wait to play with it. Guess I need to go back to Michael’s (was just there today) and get some martha glitter. I already bought up all of her ribbon! I am in love with her twill tape and piped nylon! I was thisclose to picking up that glue pen today… now I wish I would have!
Thanks for all the product reviews – they truely do enable! I enjoy your site so much!

well i don’t have it yet but i’m totally lovin’ papertrey’s new lady bug set.
Have you seen those adorable headless stamps at my Favorite Things? SO cute and there are others too that are fun, fun, fun.
http://www.mftstamps.com/
Check em out!
I love your blog for the teaching and for the cool ideas you give. Thank you!
That stamp set is fabulous! I have to get one! The only rage I know of right now are the new cartridges for the Cricut. I have my eye on a few, but they aren’t in any of the stores I shop in yet. Thanks!
I will have to run out and get one of those glue pads. Too cool!! We don’t have a Micheal’s where I live so I am so behind on all the new products. My wish list is a mile long!
I have that glue pad too!! OMG what a wonderful product!! I also love the new Martha Stewart line – glitters, stickers, punches – yay!! OK, the other thing that I’ve been hooked on lately is the new line up by K-ology at Michael’s…lots of themes and they have coordinating ribbons, brads (gemstone type), 3-d embelli’s and lots and lots of paper, and die cut chippy letters with glittah and flocking!! Be still my heart!!! Just too much fun stuff for my litttle wallet!!! I hope I get picked cuz I could use something shiny and sparkkly on my doorstep!! ๐
I’m likin’ the new polka dotted prima flowers!
Hey Lauren!
Enable alert! I adore your style, your blog tips and all the wonderful things you share. I often come just to find out about new goods (teehee).
Some of the things I have just ordered include:
stamps from Rubber Stamping Fun
bird stamps from Hero Arts
bee and monkey stamps from Stampendous
Papertrey Inks newest stamps
A muse summer 2007 stamps
Impress stamps
but these are things I have purchased recently that are MUST haves if you don’t own them yet:
Martha Steward All Purpose Gel Adhesive (great for all sorts of projects including gluing beads, microbeads, glitter, sand and smaller embellishments)
American Crafts Premium Ribbon (especially the silky polka dots)
Bo Bunny Flex Ruler (a total MUST have item to give your cards a new flexible look)
Making Memories Pebble Brads (I just love these black and white beauties)
Doodlebug Paper Frills (RUN RUN RUN for this terrific bundle!!!)
Wow…you can tell I like to spend $ *lol* I am soooooo hopeless addicted to this industry.
Alli
It’s not that new anymore now that the mass market stores carry it but I cannot live without my Crop-i-dile.
Hi Lauren,
Yesterday while I was at the Manchester Scrapbooking convention I bought lots of new things. One of my favorite items is a 6×6 Salsa Junk pad of paper made by Junkitz. Love these papers. I found a place on-line that sells the 12X12 papers so you can at least see them. http://stores.ebay.com/The-Silly-Scrapper_JUNKITZ_W0QQfsubZ9QQfrsrcZ1
Of course I had to have a Maya Road chipboard book and tin box. You will find that here.
http://www.mayaroad.com/new/product_main.php?cPath=1019&selected_box=configuration&PHPSESSIONID=893139c2ebfe0e55e83e637e7ac3b0e3
And I purchased many of the A Muse stamps which can be found here.
http://www.amuseartstamps.com/
Those are just a few of the newer items that I just had to*have*. ๐
Mary
I have yet to try the new glue pads………I will have to try the one you purchased……that’s if I can find one here.
As for a new product…..I have to say I love the Prima Floral Embellishments I just purchased at my LSS. They are colorful primas and come in a cute little clear paint can. It’s going to be hard for me to use them…..lol
Thanks for your wonderful blog!
Have a great day!!
I haven’t tried the new glue pads, either. I have picked them up in my LSS, but then I put them down…wondering whether I would use this or not. You just may have inspired me to go back and get one! Love the card!
I did buy the Sakura GLAZE pens recently, and I think those are fun. Oh, and I just bought the Bo Bunny Flex Ruler. I haven’t used it yet, but it sure caught my eye when I saw it in a magazine. I’m totally loving anything PaperTreyInk. I find myself reaching for these stamps ALL of the time.
Great minds think a like.. I just got this too from my favorite online sb store EP.. I haven’t used it yet but plan to on the flip flop invitations I’m making for my neices’s end of school boy/ girl pool party.. She’s personally requested ‘flip flop’ invitations..
Love your blog and visit it daily. Hugs to Alexa..
just found your blog. LOVE this card – absolutely, simply dazzling!
I have seen a preview of the new Stampin Up catty. I absolutely love the new set with all the flourishes. And matching designer paper is to die for.It is all just beautiful and the one with all the animals grinning is too cute. If this is any indication of the things in the new catty coming out July 1, I am in serious trouble.
I don’t think I have anything new to add because I’ve noticed a couple of people mention the Sakura glaze pens and the glitter pens. I DO absolutely love these! It seems that I can’t make a card lately without just a little bit of bling! I also am completely addicted to stickles (any color..it doesn’t matter..I love them all equally)! One item that I have not seen mentioned yet is the Sakura Soufle (sp?) pens. They are so luxurious!
Thanks for all of the amazing samples and product reviews!
Laurie
What an absolutely gorgeous card!!! what’s new that I love? Well I’m always behind the trends. I seem to need to see something a lot before I get it for myself. But I have to say that I love SU’s new In Colors for 2007-8. I can’t wait to order them and start using them. They are just gorgeous! And I think there will be matching ribbon too. Can’t wait for that either!
Thanks for posting that beautiful card.
Beautiful card! There are some really cute new 6×6 paper pads I just bought at my local Archiver’s. They have matching punch out embellishments included in the pad and also have matching rub-ons and stickers you can purchase seperately. They are DCWV and are baby boy or girl, although alot of the papers are just cute and do not have to be baby.
I got my glue pad in Seattle a few weeks ago, but haven’t used it! My favorite things right now are A*Muse stamps (I got at THE store) and my 6×6 Basic Grey pads in Phoebe & Blush & last weekend drove up north to get the 365 page My Mind’s Eye Magnolia/Wild Asparagus 12 x 12 paper from Costco everyone’s been raving about. It’s awesome!
Love the card! I have seen the glue pad but don’t own one yet. I don’t have many of the NEW tools yet. I did manage to find a 6×6 Basic Grey pad at LSS that is calling my name. Hopefully I will be able to play with some of my stuff soon.
I love the glue pad also. I have a uhu glue runner which I would be lost without. I got it to try out for free and now I am hooked on it, Great blog I love visiting it daily
Lauren, I hesitate to tell you the pile of stuff that has arrived on my doorstep in the last two weeks thanks to YOU! From Ellen H. – Memory Box Sugar CS, new styluses, 4 Ornare piercing and embossing templates and a “pricking” tool; from eP – Flowerfly, Say Charge and various patterned papers; from AllThatScraps – Wagon of Flowers stamp by GinaK and various patterned paper that you have used; from Green Grass Stamps – 3 sheets of rubbah!; from PaperTreyInk – Green Thumb…oh, and let’s not forget the many trips to Michael’s, JoAnn’s and Target! From them I have the Martha Stewart eyelet border punch, various ribbons, Primas, flocked paper in 3 different colors, Favor Box, Pillow Box, Pocketbook and Envelope Templates, Marcella and MM patterned papers, Clear $ stamps, various $ spot stuff in large quantities…I could probably go on, lol!
Here are a few things you MIGHT not have, lol! Ellen sent some delicious ombre pink grosgrain with my order – LOVE IT! LOVE her Ornare templates, too. YOU are THE ENABLER, so I don’t know if I can do the same for you. I am excited about SU!’s Preview and will be ordering much from it on June 1. I scored some great jeweled hatpins- 3 to a card in 3 colors – by CK and some silk flowers – all on clearance at JoAnn’s. I made my own sheer frame with my Coluzzle and StazOn! It worked great! That’s all for now – DH is looking over my shoulder and he doesn’t need to know all of this!
I really don’t have any new products to tell you about…that’s the reason I check your blog and many others. I wouldn’t need new stuff so often if it weren’t for blogs and SCS!! Maybe I need to spend more time in my stamp room and less time on the internet!!
My favorite new products are Bazzill Bling Cardstock, New Gina K Stamps- the ones with the Crabs – not sure of the name. Little Lady Papertrey stamps and Martha Stewart punches.
how fun! I love product reviews! so nice to hear what others think of things before you spend tons of money on them! I refrained from buying any glitter, but I might have to now!
~Kendra
I heard they were coming out with a bunch of new scalloped punches. I love those, they make the card look so cool. Your cards are wonderful!
Very beautiful and innovative designs
Great info, it was quite interesting nice work. I appreciate the information you provided is excellent post. Thanks for sharing this article.
