Dawnmercedes! You have won the random drawing for my carrot box, and Bunny Ears Stamp! YEAH!! Email me your shipping info so I can get this off to you!
Just to be fair, I have used a computer generated random selector! You can see it here . SCSer-mnhyrkas on SCS posted it on this thread. It chose lucky # 31. Good thing I found that thread cause I was going to copy, cut, and draw!
Here is what Dawn wrote:
I say keep some exclusive to your blog. I have been spending WAY MORE time on blogs than in the SCS gallery!
Here is my decision based on all the wonderful feedback I received-
I have decided that I will post MOST of my stuff in both places. In my SCS gallery I will link back to here. Most people agreed they don’t mind that being done. I always include recipe info anyway, and a little blurb. I will post my creations to my blog first. I will also have a few things I keep exclusive to you -my “regular readers!” So what does this mean?
Well I guess if you don’t want to miss the special stuff , keep checkin my blog. And, if you want to see some amazing stuff you still need to check my gallery! LOL! My Dirty Dozen creations are exclusive to that, so you should join SCS if you haven’t already!
You can find info on joining Splitcoaststampers Fan Club here. (can you tell I just recently learned how to hide a link in a word? LOL its so fun) It really is worth the subscription! You couldn’t get one day of the ideas posted, from any magazine or book for that price. Plus all the people who contribute there work so hard to keep the site running. And you want to be able to view all the AMAZING jaw on the floor creations from the Dirty Dozen don’t ya?
OK lastly- Alexa’s contest will be extended to the 3rd. A winner will be announced on the 5th! I will go update my dates on that post found here.
Stay tuned! Tomorrow I have more eye candy to post, and a new Saturday Challenge!
I just got some new goodies from eP !
I LOVE this image by Stampendous! called Peony Square.
I stamped the image in black craft ink, then embossed it with Iridescent Ice EP. Shimmery IRL! You can see some of it on the leaf in the photo. Anyway, I LOVE the Perhaps paper by Basic Grey. I got my from JacksonbellesEbay store.
So, I stamped my flowers three times! Yes three! Once on the whisper white, twice on the patterned paper. I then cut pieces of the flower and pieced it onto my roses. I chose to mix up the pieces from patterned paper so it wasn’t uniform. The scrap was used on my side panel. Faux stitched all the way! You’ll NEVER see me pull out a sewing machine! Just can’t do it-
Isn’t it gorgeous? I was SUPER proud! I colored the open parts I didn’t piece of the rose with Brilliance ink, and a blender pen. The rest is just markers!
My black layer is cuttlebugged with my embossing folder ( cannot remember the name to save my life!)
This will most likely go to my mom. Every-time I see roses I think of her.
Don’t you just love the spring! Easter is so fun when you have kids isn’t it? This Easter we leave for Disney! I hear they have a MEGA egg hunt, and huge Easter Parade. I’m am SO excited.
So I pulled out my bunny from C.C. Designs. You can find him HERE
The little eggs in the background are also her design. So cute! I love the little feet poking out of the eggs.
I had this cute patterned paper by DCWV, called Spring Stack. Thought it was perfect. I “decorated” my eggs with my fine point on my markers. HAD to use a Daisy prima. Love polka dot ribbon. I have a huge spool of this from May Arts. So spring don’t you think.
I have to say I love my layout! Into my sketch book it goes for future casing of myself! LOL!
Here is a photo of my book that I put my sketches in for future reference. When you are in a creating rut it comes in handy! I recommend everyone do one~
So this is not your usual farm friendly color combo now is it? Cameo Coral, Basic Black, White, and Celery.
I got the sheep by Gina K., and cuttlebug stuff HERE . I have been dying to work with some of her images. They are just too cute.
My card was inspired by this ribbon I got in the $1 bin at Michael’s. Can you see the little sheep on the ribbon?
I stamped the sheep with white craft ink. Whipped out my liquid applique, cause no sheep is complete without its “wool”. I used my WW crayons to color the ear, make a nose, and some grass. Sheeps gotta eat right? Added a gogglie eye, and it was done.
Then I figured it needed “more”. So I pulled out my sizzix fence die, and bazzil cardstock. Now there thats much better. Used my cuttle bug swirls embossing folder on the panel to imitate the “woolly” feel! LOL! Bet you didn’t think I thought about too much when making this huh?
Lastly LOVE the sentiment!
What do you think? Like my sheep?
