About Me
Hi, my name is Lauren Meader.
I am here to share my ideas, opinions, and creative ventures with you.
I began stamping in April 2004, and haven’t stopped since!
It has gone from a hobby to a passion.
I became a Stampin Up! demonstrator in February 2005. My passion wasn’t going home to home to sell product, but more teaching people how to use it. I love sharing my creativity with others. March 2007 was my debuting month as part of The Dirty Dozen design team @ SCS, where I was given the oppourtunity to design with a group of amazingly talented women, over a 6 month period. I am now fulfilling my dream as a concept designer for several companies, that I LOVE- All That Scraps, Craft Critique-Featured Reporter, Gina K Designs Stamps for a Cause, Green Grass Stamps, Lizzie Anne Designs, My Favorite Things, Papertrey Ink, Scor-Pal Design Team, and am a Smilebox Avaitor!
I even do an occassional guest designer spot!
In between concept work, and family, I try to squeeze out some design’s for calls for publication in magazines!
Since this is my passion it hardly feels like “work”.
I am married to a wonderful, and supportive man, named Jason. I stay home with our three children- Alexa, Noah, and Amber. They make my life worth living, and keep it very busy, and interesting. Alexa had Down Syndrome, and in Feb. 2006 was diagnoised with Leukemia. That exierience has taught me so much! I was previously a nurse for 7 years, and much to my husbands dismay, think I may just stick to my dream of making papercrafting my career!
I think Im on my way! You miss 100% of the chances you DON’T take!
I hope my time shared here inspires you!

I would love to be chosen for your current drawing. I check your site almost every day. You are such a creative lady! Your projects are always beautiful and have that “wow” factor.
I have been following your Papertrey projects and can’t wait to get the new sets!
Thanks for sharing your creative genius with all of us stampers and papercrafters!

Hello there Lauren, this is my first visit to your blog and I am so inspired by both your artwork and your outlook on life! I love, love, love your Mother’s Day card and hope you don’t mind if I case it for my Mom. I actually got teary eyed when I read it and thought of my Mom the whole time. I would love the chance to talk with you sometime about your venture into the papercrafting world as I have some questions about getting started but until then may the Lord be with you and your family always.
Hugs,
Kim Carter
Hi Lauren! I just found your blog today and it couldn’t have come at a better time than today. Your words have encouraged and inspired me. Thanks so much. Well for my most memorable birthday…I would have to say when I turned 4. Growing up things were not always happy. My mother was the breadwinner of the family. On my fourth birthday she surprised me with a birthday party with my neighborhood friends, cake, balloons and party favors. She truly made this a special day for me. My mother is now 83 and I will call her and let her know how much I love her and thank you her for the most memorable birthday for me. Thanks, Pam

hi! I would like to know what pensil you use when you color in the image you just stamp. First you stamp with black ink on white paper and after you use pensil to color . What or the good markers i need to by to do that. Thanck you very much. nancy
Lauren, you HAVE inspired me! So many women I’ve met thru SCS and these blogs have inspired me - I am amazed at what you all can do. I have been stamping for several years, and altho I love it, it hasn’t developed beyond just playing. I want to really get into it like you have, but honestly, don’t know how… I can’t even figure out how to get a creative graphic on my blogger main page! How do you get from “casual stamper” to “fully-involved-in-the-industry-designer?” Any suggestions to get me going in that direction?
Lauren, you have really inspired me to do more stamping, it’s a get away for me and I really enjoy looking at your website. I have several questions for you though. How did you do the reflection on your 30th birthday card? On your Curious George popout card what copic markers did you use to color the monkey? What colors of copics do you suggest for blonde hair, brunette hair, red hair and tanned skin color? I’m wanting to start with basic colors I need to purchase right away and thought I might need all these colors I asked about, do you suggest any other colors? Thanks! Hope to hear from you soon!! By the way I love your nurse card and tin, I’m also a nurse.
